Care to expound on that? Nothing to really discuss to be quite honest well other than Waffles vs. Pancakes.

Leninist; non-Marxist

Sounds about right, chaps, what do you reckon?

Good for you? I have no idea what we are supposed to be talking about here.

A leninist that is anti-marxist? You mean like how when Stalin declared the law of value to not be the basic economic law under capitalism?

Technically, there were Nazis in favour of deporting the Jews to Palestine as a way of getting rid of them. :D

Some Nazis were Zionists though...like Adolf Eichmann for example

...if I remember correctly I believe the Nazis stole the idea of racial supremacy from a Jewish concept.

Yes, there have been a number of odd openly zionist-fascist groups throughout history, as well as a fair few other groups that would have similarly been eradicated by the Nazis for one reason or another despite their espousal of Hitler.

Anyway, someone openly supporting Lenin whilst dismissing Marx isn't that surprising.

That's like saying you met a pro-ice cream, anti-dessert person. Or a pro-steak vegetarian. It's a theoretical impossibility. Did the person give any more details?

Since we are talking about me I would like to defend myself. First off I never said I was anti-marxist, but instead I said I was anti-marxist-leninist (aka anti-stalinist), but that I was fairly pro-lenin. I listed out my reasons for being fairly pro-lenin later on in the thread on fb.

Here is my original post on that group:

Well I'm a sort of combination of a syndicalist and left communist of the russian tradition (look up the Workers Group of the Russian Communist Party). I am a member of the Workers Party in America Supporters' Organization. And I'm a part time janitor at my University.

So all the OP is doing is tendency baiting.

Actually I think you'll also find that the OP is posting what isn't even quite enough to be a chit-chat thread in the politics section for some strange reason...

Verbal warning to Ryan the Commie Girl for flamebait.

Verbal warnings to Welshy (sorry, comrade!), Commissar Rykov and Susurrus for posting spam pics/vids in this thread while it still resided in the Politics forum.

And now, the Amazing Miles will make this thread ... disappear! (Well, not really. I'm just moving it to Chit-Chat.)

Well no. I was trying to use the term marxist-leninist to describe stalinists because I was trying to be nice and call you all by the name that you all like to be called, but I guess that was a mistake. Also trotskyists are leninists but yet are anti-stalinism. I'm just against stalin, mao and trotsky, but I see some good things in lenin's theories and think that in practice he did some things that are definitely worth criticizing him.

There is no such thing as a 'Stalinist'.

The main difference between Trotskyists and Marxist-Leninists is the idea of permenant revolution, seeing as that isn't relevant now, there aren't really any big differences between the two ideologies.

Stalin simply followed Lenin's ideas. I think you would be very surprised at what would have happened if Lenin had ruled up until 1953 rather than Stalin.

There wouldn't have been much of a difference in what happened

yes I understand why marxist-leninist uphold stalin and I just like quite a few of lenin's ideas but have enough problems with some of the things he did to not consider myself a leninist. And yes I also understand why you all call yourselves marxist-leninists which is why was trying to use it in the first place and only used stalinist to specify that I was referring to people who upheld stalin.

So comrade if you wish to talk to me about this more, I will be more than happy to talk about it over a PM. My only purpose in posting here was to defend myself from being called anti-marxist by someone (who is now known to be nazi) I ran into on FB who brought their filth over to our forum.
