The Soviet Anthem does sound really nice, but I've heard it so many times I have grown to find it over rated. I love the red army choir though.

I have always liked the Internationale in Farsi, mainly because of the video, which is filled with banners in languages I cannot decipher:

I think that Auferstanden aus Ruinen, the DDR national anthem, has absolutely gorgeous music, schön wie nie, "incomparably beautiful," to quote the lyrics. The techno version of that anthem is an oddity that I like, too -- the video actually shows DDR citizens smiling, and it makes the DDR look like a happening place:
