I wasn't entirely sure where to put this.
I got a letter from DSHS that had a website on it washingtonconnection. org. I noticed something odd about a symbol in their logo. I realized it's a reverses form of the rune sowlio, the s rune, which was a part of the Nazi SS uniforms, and is popular amongst neo-Nazi's to this day. I'm willing to entertain the notion that it's entirely coincidental, but I have my suspicions. The symbol on the site is nearly identical (when reversed) to the image of the rune I found on wikkipedia.

Huh...if you remove the arrows, reverse it, and tilt it about 45 degrees, then it does get kinda disturbing.

:p

Dan Brown should make his next novel about crypto-nazis.

No I provided an image of the actual rune. There are many stylized forms of this rune, the Nazi specific one is a bit tilted. However the original version, which I've provided, is getting more popular amongst Neo Nazi's. With runes it's not uncommon to have arrows, usually to indicate how they are drawn. I fully addmitted it was reversed, which is the sort of thing that happens with runes, since they get cast for divination. Kind of like tarot cards, the rune upside down means something different. I just thought the whole thing might be a comment by the designer on how he/she views government.

I am sure there is no correlation

I wasn't accusing anyone of being a Nazi. I just found the similarity interesting, the possible reasons for it being similar are many and varied.

"Dan Brown: The Autobiography"
Well played.

In any case, I once saw a cloud which, when rotated approximately 60 degrees around its center, stretched three times in each direction and then edited on Photoshop looked like a Swastika. God is a Nazi.

There is also fasces all over DC and it's been a common sign used by the American government.

At any rate, it's kind of weird but I'm not going to be throwing around the word Nazi.

This is a Navy barracks:

I assume they copied the design from Wolfenstein 3D

Seriously. Enlarge the images I provided, one is from the Washington Connection web site, the other is straight off of Wikkepedia. They are very much alike. The Nazi s is drawn thicker, and positioned to look more like a regular s, but the underlying design is the same.
Honestly I don't know why I'm having to defend my observation. A person who took as much time looking at the provided images as it's taking me to write this would probably find them eerily similar. Instead I hear a bunch of snarky condescension.
Do you lot just go around trying to find things to criticize? Or does being negative just come that naturally to you?
I think the biggest problem facing the left is its membership. People who are always willing, even happy, to shoot things down, generally don't make the most effective teams. It only leads to bickering and infighting.

The responses I got were annoying. I'm more formal, and serious minded then most. I treat glib off hand comments like the work of children, and think very little of the people who make them.
I know this is chit chat. I guess I was just hoping for higher minded responses.
