I saw this last night, but was too tired to post it until this morning.

If you don't know who Boots Riley is, he's a pretty interesting guy actually. He grew up in Chicago, but now lives in Oakland, California as a musician. (He's front man and creator of the group The Coup and also Street Sweeper Social Club (SSSC.)) He grew up apparently in a pretty radical household, which got him into politics and the problems of Americans (specifically minorities), where he later join the Progressive Labor Part (PLP). I'm not sure if he's still with the PLP, but he's a pretty interesting guy if you can't already tell by the RT interview.
