What is the relation to the 19th century magical order? Do they appropriate Greek religious symbols the way the Nazis did? Are there more progressive groups practicing Greek pagan religions?

My guesses would be (1) probably none (2) probably yes and (3) no.

I can't find a more fascistic movement than Golden Dawn. They think Ancient People were great and they try to be like them by being racist. As for the religious symbols,in their protest they have these symbols

Their official one which reprents Golden Dawn

It has no official roots to that order...

Make no mistake about this...GD is a neo-Nazi organisation. And the hermetic order of Golden Dawn studies the Kabahla and required its members to honour all existing religions.
Golden Dawn in Greece does not share one single political ideology with the hermetic order.

O...I need to add that the Hermetic order did have some followers in Greece...but since they heavilly rely on the star of David in their official symbology I think it is rather a given that the Golden Dawn party stays away from them.

Any idea what that symbol represents? To me it looks like a rearranged swastika. Even has the exact same colours as the flag of Nazi Germany.

It is a rearranged swastika as far as they 're concerned but they're trying to distance themselves from the traditional "german" national socialism so they use this instead.
They even claim they do the nazi salute because it was originally dorian (ancient greek tribe, spartans were Dorians).

To the op:
1) There isn't one.
2) You mean greek pagan symbols? No, haven't seen that.
3) Very very few people practice the ancient pagan religion and even then it's more due to an "antichristian" feeling rather than anything else. At least I hope so.
Some neopagan magazines -I see them sometimes being sold on stands- seem pretty right-wing.

Oh, ok. It was actually the magical order I'm trying to figure out -- I'm well familiar with the Greek fascist group but I'd never heard of the order until reading some magical texts the other day. And then the texts started talking about how they draw inspiration from the Golden Dawn and so I wanted to make sure that I wasn't reading about how to do nazi magic or whatever.

Still, I'd definitely appreciate hearing more about Greek pagan religions as they're currently practiced (especially by people who aren't right-wing and terrible).

I know they get publicly bashed by anarchists every once in a while.

Found an article about Greek neopaganism and its relationship to the Orthodox church here (http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:vScliHhbtB4J:www.cesnur.org/2011/dan-voulgarakis.doc+paganism+and+nationalism+in+greece&hl=hr&gl=hr&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEEShanDun5uqLZmFZCqwuNe5NiD4OCTQ9Kfd0-uSlcsX3csxrCvRNOR72kq2JV8NhEZw9RX59xtAdgI4gtXxDpyI TLVCJQjvtkBEo6IjgmncqezF-I0UjR2qGa44zgLgAMoTGa3dv&sig=AHIEtbS8HaFC4as38GyiD1Qh2WewXdfzfg). A lot of them sound pretty nationalistic to me, claiming to be "true Hellenes" and all.

The Order of the Golden Dawn has nothing to do with this fascist organization. In the Golden Dawn all religions and creeds are venerated, and Jewish Qabalah is held in high regard and is the backbone of the whole system. Additionally, there were Jewish members in the old Order and its offshoots (AO and Stella Matutina). Israel Regardie, who became a member of the S.M. and later published its rituals in the Golden Dawn was himself Jewish. The Order accepted members from all backgrounds, and was quite revolutionary for its time, in accepting women on equal terms as men. Most of its membership was left leaning.
Also, something that's always bothered me is that Neopaganism is often associated with Fascism and Neonazism, and fundamentalist Christians are particularly fond of blaming Nazism either on Atheism or Paganism. The reality is that most fascist and Neo-nazi groups are Christian, especially in the US. There are a few small groups of Neopagans (chiefly in Europe) who are also Neonazis, and sadly, though they're small, they make a lot of noise. In Russia (which has the largest number of Neo-nazi organisations in the world) most Nazis are orthodox Christians, and I once saw a documentary on racism in Russia that uncovered that Church officials oftentimes abet and aid racist organizations, and encourage racial violence.
From what I read a few months ago, this Greek Golden Dawn now has more orthodox christians than Neopagans among its ranks.
