Hi to all, for the past few years i have been really put off by the way people worship money to the point of exploitation of other people and the more i try to raise my voice over these issues i keep hearing that this is common everywhere and it will not change but i believe just because it has been happening everywhere does not make it right and the changes although difficult could be possible. I have searched a lot on internet about ways to counter these activities and have read books and also watched documentaries about the Zapatistas of EZLN, Cuban revolutionaries, Mao and Deng. I tried to read Das Kapital in english but i find it extremely difficult to understand. I have registered here to find out if there are any books that should be required before going in this book or should i take some classes for it? and if so which ones? I do not have much knowledge about socialism and communism so my contributions may be minimum but my willingness to learn is very high so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to the forum, for Das Kapital I would recommend David Harvey's youtube video series ReadingCapital.

Welcome! As for books, I suggest "Why Marx was Right" by Terry Eagleton, and of course "The Communist Manifesto" These are easier books to read and can give people far more insight into the Marxist viewpoint.
