Hello comrades, I'm NobodyButNob. I'm an orthodox Marxist-Leninist more or less and I tend to be a Stalin apologist. Nonetheless though, I'm also a critic (It's in my belief that we must be critical of ourselves so that we may advance and learn because if there were no such things as critics, would we ever get advance?). Of course though I'm still learning but I think I have a solid grasp on the concept of Communism (The authoritarian side anyway :closedeyes:) and am always eager to learn more.
Currently I'm a university student who is studying mathematics in Canada and German culture (I hope one day to move to Germany). Political scene where I am is absolutely disgusting. Apathy and ignorance runs deep and I seem to be the only one who cares. Then again I tend to attract depressive people so go figure :lol:. Family is mostly centre left excluding my brother who is a Neo-Con/Fascist :cursing:.
I use to be a right winger in my early years because we all make stupid mistakes right? Anyway, becoming a leftist more or less came with becoming an atheist. It started with the realization of it being an opiate for the masses (Hi Marx), it being delusional (Was originally Christian in a sense) and wishful thinking. My Marxist tendencies came from a friend who in some sense saved my life and taught me a lot about philosophy and politics.
For awhile now, I've been mostly a lurker in the RevLeft forums because I found it a great place to learn about Marxism, Anarchists, etc. and I was too shy :blushing: to become a member.. until now anyway.... ANYWAY, as you can see I've decided to become a member of the community. So again, hi everyone and I hope I'll be able to contribute to the community in a positive way! (The authoritarian side of things anyway :lol:)
