Just read the "Communist Manifesto" and "Das Kapital" any other suggestions?

Depends on what you mean by communism as their are various tendencies within Marxism itself. If you have really read all of Das Kapital I am rather impressed as I have to ingest it in very small pieces and I find it rather droll at times. As far as other good works from Marx and Engels I would suggest the following:
Theses on Feurbach
A Critique of the German Ideology
Principles of Communism
Wage-Labour and Capital
Socialism: Utopian and Scientific

I enjoyed those and found them rather informative. Other than Marx and Engels you have various other theorists like Lenin, Luxemburg, Gramsci, DeLeon, etc.

I would suggest "Why Marx was Right" by Terry Eagleton to anybody wanting to reinforce their Marxist beliefs. It is a fun read and breaks down most major arguments against Marxism quite well.

o well this is ok I guess

The State and Revolution by V.I Lenin
Yeah if we are going to go with Lenin I would agree on The State and Revolution as well as What Is to Be Done? I also found Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism to be quite good as well and Left-Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder.

You've really read Capital? Props to you, comrade. You've already read more Marx than most of the folks on here. You can also read any of Marx's other works. You can get pretty good selected works of Marx. I recommend getting The German Ideology or the student/abridged edition.

For a read on the early American communist party and its history you could check out The Roots of American Communism by Theodore Draper.
