One thing I've been wondering...are capitalists/bourgeoisie (those who own and control the means of production) mostly white males? Hence why we see stereotypes against women, other races, etc in the mainstream media such as Hollywood as if their lens of the world are reflected to it and projected to the working classes to further divide them?
Or am I (somewhat) wrong?

Depends in what part of the world you are. In China, they are Asians. In many nations across Africa, they are Black. In Latin America, they are Latino. It really depends on where you are. In the US, yes. The vast majority are White, Christian males.

Yes. They are *mostly* white males, mainly as a result of the historical reality of British/Spanish/Dutch/... empires that put lighter skinned (white) humans in a higher position as a justification for imperialism in conjunction with the fact that capitalism first originated in those same countries (Britain, the Netherlands)
However, just because we used the adjective *mostly*, doesn't mean that there aren't also plenty of capitalists that are Asian, African, Latino, etc. For example, even though 4/5 of the top five richest people in the world are white males, Carlos Slim (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Slim) is considered to be the richest despite the fact that he is Mexican/Lebanese. Furthermore, there are plenty of poor white males (e.g me). So I would like to emphasise that correlation doesn't imply causation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlation_does_not_imply_causation).
