I guess they had one or two other hits in the UK, but this was their only US hit.

EL OH EL Devo as 'one-hit wonders'.
Exactly. Ditto Toto, Prefab Sprout, Rick Astley, Ultravox... 'one hit wonder' doesn't mean the same as 'name the most famous song by a band'. Anyway, Prefab Sprout's most famous hit is 'When Love Breaks Down' isn't it?
Anyhoo...

Ok, so they had a bit of a cult following, but I think it still counts.

I think there are probably such divergent opinions as to what a 'one hit wonder' is that we're never going to agree about this.
To me, a 'one hit wonder' (like a 'nine day wonder') is a musician or band that 1 - you've never heard of; 2 - that suddenly has a hit; 3 - then disappears never to be heard of again.
Not, like Devo, a band that had a 7-year career and hobnobbed with Neil Young before their surprise hit, and have been working for a hefty chunk of the last 30 years since then.
The 'wonder' (like the 'nine day wonder') is partly at least 'I wonder where that came from/what happened to them?' rather than 'I wonder why lots of people have suddenly cottoned on to something that has been around for such a liong time?'

Technically, that band isn't a one-hit wonder regardless of how you define the term. If you go by the Billboard Top 200, they're a no-hit wonder because they never had a single chart on the top 200; on the other hand, they had three songs make the Alternative Rock charts ("Bound for the Floor" - #5; "Eddie Vedder" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOmRhOKhkOI) - #38; "All the Kids Are Right" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bF_oW1KxdzA&ob=av2n) - #20).
That being said, "Bound for the Floor" is the only thing people know about this band - not even the name of the band makes the cut, it seems - and the song in question was the only one to even crack the Top 200 in airplay.

1st song: NO SHAME. FIGHT ME. Plus, in the 90s, she was a babe! I seriously like this song, ever since I first heard it around 13 years ago.
2nd song: what does this have to do with Batman? Shiiiiitttt's good!
