So, I was watching FOX due to the GOP debates which has increasingly disturbed and infuriated me. I was sitting on the couch, me and my mate were having a serious hookah convo and no. 1 and no. 2 were sitting on the couch with me. Then out of no where no. 2 decides to pipe up and join in the conversation on the matter and I was like woah, cool, quiet one, join us, what do you think? It's all mathematics right? Wrong turns out she's some registered Republican and actually agrees with the fuckwits me and my mate had been blasting for a solid hour and half. Like, what the fuck, I was not expecting some Republican ISNA weirdo coming out of her and idk what to think, so I said, yeah, ok. Let me repeat myself, what the fuck. How does one handle some conservative loved one? I'm pretty damn blunt and not very tactful and this is a delicate situation.

What would you do Revleft? WWRD? Gulag? Icepick? Old yellar behind the house?

Yeah, I'm going to try to talk her out of her madness here and there but seeing as she's my girlfriend and she could possibly team up with the other two if I become too hostile I'm going to try to play it cool. Either way, she's not really politically active, she may vote, she may not, idk, it doesn't bother me to-to much, it was more or less like wtf.

This thread is somewhat of a joke, number one, number two, it isn't just some random person in my vicinity, it's a girl who lives with me and whom I'm involved with, number three it was surprising and finally, number four, it was a wtf moment considering she is by far the most quiet and it was extremely unexpected.

As far as the gulag is concerned, the idea of making a makeshift gulag in my apartment sounds awesome.

There's always Lenin's tactic of "patient explanation". But if that doesn't work, and this person os a Republican, you might want to try a few of the above mentioned solutions.
