Hello Comrades! I am a swedish Communist. My political views is Luxemburgistic Left Communism, but I am not a dogmatic, so it's not a strict term for all of my views.. I'm kinda mixed on some subjects.

Anyhow, I am organized in the swedish Young Left, the Youth wing of the Left Party. It is not exactly like my political views, but I prefer to be in a big organization and trying to expand my views and bring it to the direction I think is the right one instead of joining a minor organization, even if it's closer to my political views.

My hobbies includes Computer games(Mostly Fantasy RPGs) Movies, Comrades, Political Activism and of course Music. My favorite genre is Political Punkrock and my favorite band is Anti-Flag. Other than that I like pretty much anything that ain't commercial shit:)

So yeah, I guess that sums it up. If you got any questions, just ask away:D

Välkommen kamrat! I'll do this in English so our international comrades can understand. :D

Gothenburg? Yay. Not quite my location, but almost. Best major city. Good to see some actual Communists in the Left party, really. While the youth wing tends to be rather radical from what I've seen, the main party - especially the buffoon Ohly - has rejected all that, in essence. No offense intended, haha.

Always nice to see more Swedes on the forum, especially those on the proper side of the pennisula. :tt2:

Sweden? SAC! Not sure how you feel about them, since you're a Left Com.
But glad to have you here, we seem to have a good amount of Swedish members :)

Anti-Flag? They've contaminated "radical" punk with liberalism in Sweden, too?!

Smyg

I'm not sure 'radical' punk exists to any larger degree in Sweden nowadays. :D

How sad. You guys just have "homocidal black metal" and "free healthcare" in the cool column now. :(

I wouldn't really consider the healthcare free, personally.

Haha, true true, Stockholm is on Sweden's backside.

Well, what you are saying is pretty much true... But there's still several radical members of the Left Party. Kalle Larsson is a great example I think:)

Well, I disagree with Left Communism's view on unions... It's more of a label for my opinions generally, it shouldn't be taken strictly.

As for SAC, I still have no experience of union struggle yet D:

*Holds my hands before my ears* Don't say that about one of the few heroes I have left! :crying:

That it is indeed, sadly.

Personally I don't care much if Sweden looses coolness-points. See my location for a hint as to why.

the main party - especially the buffoon Ohly - has rejected all that, in essence.

I think this is disingenuous and seems to blame Ohly for something that essentially is a long-going trend of breaking with any revolutionary ideology in the Left Party. This trend goes back already to the 1940's when the Left Party removed the dictatorship of the proletariat from their political programme. Then there was the removal of the "The Communists" as a sub-title under the reprehensible guidance of Sjöstedt and Gudrun Schyman, the Left Party in essence has simply assumed the politics of, say the Social Democratic Party in the 1960's, before its right-ward turn away from its historical direction. Sjöstedt for example goes even further in rejecting socialism than does Ohly, and represents a further continuation of the same right-ward and reformist trend of the party.

Generally speaking the political scene here really is depressing. SKU are cult-like conspiracy nuts, KP are some sort of strange mix of revisionists defending changes on Cuba and so on so forth.
