Well they weren't being nice but I wouldn't call it brutality. The police seemed to handle it as gently as they could considering how difficult that kid was being. I hate to come to the police department's defense in a situation like this but those protesters should have handled the situation more professionally and with a bit less melodrama.

There are certainly times for defiance, in fact I wish the protesters would take a more defiant stance in general, but that particular situation should have been handled with a more rational approach than lying on the ground like a disobedient child.

But then again, I wasn't there and maybe I am missing something off-screen.:(

Eh, I've seen worse first-hand. As a matter of fact, this is pretty damn mild in my opinion. I can't see any horses, dogs, pepper spray or batons in use.

Please don't exaggerate. I'm starting to get the sense that everything about this demonstration is over exaggerated.

I hesitated to use the words "Police Brutality", hence I only described it as elements of it, because frankly a police dragging a protestor on the concrete by his ankles shouldn't fit our standards of civil conduct; but this is simply what was caught on tape. A few members being harassed and detained is just a peek into what else may be happening. Don't be so callous as to dismiss the possibility of peoples' rights being severely sidestepped by police simply because nobody is getting beaten to death.

Remember that video of that liberal going on about how they must stay peaceful here and that when faced with peace the authorities wouldn't know what to do? Lol cool story bro.
