Those anti-capitalist signs are quite interesting-they know who their enemy is. Its good to see the people of Haiti rising up against the state and international forces repressing their country. However its hard to say what that means for their future. They are a country with a long history of having hopes for change dashed by greedy local bourgeois and foreign interests.

I do not see this as a sign of uprising against the state. The anger is mainly directed at the MINUSTAH and not at the government. In fact the protests demand the NU troops be moved out of the country and replaced by government troops, as said in the article....and parts of the protesters want Aristide back...
