Comrades,
A Communist society is by definition a classless and stateless society.
And since one of the main points of Anarchism is the abolition of state, so it would appear that Communism and Anarchism agree on this point.
Therefore, isn't calling one's self an Anarcho-Communist sort of redundant? Are there any real theoretical differences between Communism and Anarcho-Communism?
Thanks in advance,
Comrade Orlyevich

No, because Anarcho-Communists believes in removing the state instantly as it is a threat to the working class and skip the Socialist phase in favor of direct-heading to Communism.
Where Marxists of different kinds believes in some transition using a state(aka Socialism) to get to stateless society (Communism).
So, Anarchists = remove states and classes, Marxists = remove classes using the state, then remove it.

No. This is because anarchism and anarcho-communism are not synonyms. There is social anarchism (communist- and collectivist-) and individualist anarchism (mutualism).

We believe in reaching communism through worker's self management and direct democracy. Just not too big on the big brother side of things(state socialism)..we still would have a dictatorship of the proletariat also, but it would be controlled directly by the workers through direct democracy.

Since I am by no means the most educated person when it comes to Anarchism this has been somewhat of an issue for me.
Thanks for the enlightening responses, Comrades!
