wow, this is crazy. i was just coming into history to start a post about camilo. about his death. too fucking strange....


anyway we talked about Camilo in class today and my teacher told me that his death is shrouded in mystery in cuba just like Jfk in america. one theory is that Raul assasinated him. my teacher said

1. a nurse told the paper she attended to camilo the day after he supposedly went down in the ocean
2. camilo's personal secratary was asasinated shortly after camilos plane went down
3 the asasin of the asasin of the secratary was killed (jack ruby style)
4 i think my teacher said that assasin was also killed but maybe i just got lost.
5 the airtraffic controller at the airport camilo left from said that camilo never showed up that day and never got on the plane.


i thought it was probably all bullshit but was wondering if anyone had any ideas about it. i thought it was bullshit primarily because i know how much Che loved Camilo (dedicating Guerilla Warfare to him) and if Che had thought raul killed him of fidel killed him i can't believe that Che would stand for it.

aside from that stuff-
Camilo was a great man and one of the greatest heros of the revolution.

As far as I know, Camilo died a day after he told a prty member that Fidel has ordered, that if he want be layal to the party and revolution, he would be ban from the party. The comrade refused to listen, yet Camilo tried hard to convince him with no succes. So I don't think there was some anger on Camilo from anywhere, because he never cpmlained on Fidel's administration and always respected all the frends of the party.
