Hello, I hate these "intro" threads and never know what to put down, but here goes nothing.
I'm 18, Student, working-class guy from the Hertfordshire area of England. I've seen myself never liking the way the politics work in this country and never agreed to the idea of capitalism.
I've always looked up at my dad and how hard he's worked to provide for himself and the family, he's now 63 and still working hard as a welder. My parents have never seen the point in politics and have given up, never bothering to vote, although i can't blame them now adays and its a sad state.
I've seen myself as a socialist for awhile and do my best to educate my friends into what the actual views of socialism are and not just what is told by media and the education, which is essentially, "big bad evil socialists, USSR, cold war, bad bad" drivel, its tiring.
Only jsut found this site and glad I have, already learnt alot and loved reading the information and mature depates between the different beliefs and looking to reading, and interaction with the community on here.
