It seems the overwhelming majority of posts I read are by students: highschool or college... so I am taking a voluntary poll to see the age breakdown of revleft's members.

The poll will not show usernames to protect anonymity.

Inb4ageism. Lol.
You repeated 18 and 21. So if someone's 18 or 21 they can choose either.

About the poll, that was an unfortunate mistake. I am not an ageist, I only came to revleft.com to network with other revolutionaries in the US. I studied Marxism and began working full time at age 16 all while in school. Then I joined the military to support my extended family after massive layoffs in my home area. I ran into some NCO's that committed war crimes, and testified against them in a long trial. I think the education factor of this forum is amazing. I however have found a solid footing, and talked with many revolutionaries across the country, and have moved to the practical application phase, i.e. educating workers, and organizing workplaces, working class neighborhoods, minority communities and the like. Just wanted to see a makeup of the forum and why I have found it to be an unfavorable experience for my left social needs.

I'm 23, but I only have the maturity of a 22-year-old. If that.

You used some pretty bad options, all of those age ranges could be a student...

I agree with comrade Ducky, this does seem ageist.

I voted 21+ age group, I'm not a student, I'm a worker, I drive a bloody cab.

I would like to apologize to to all RevLeft members for the poor choice in the way I went about this poll. The choice of age was indeed the wrong way to go. I personally believe students are valuable to the future, but for my networking purposes it will not do. All though there are aberrations to every scientific trend, self efficacy is generally reached in the mid twenties, and my intention is to work with people who have a studied enough to have long term goals in their political life. I live in America and generally students have jobs only as a way for minor expenditures, or of temporary nature before choosing a long term career. Myself, and in fact my entire organization, are concerned with the working class at this moment. People that have worked long enough to have a material understanding of the obstacles of the working class, and can contribute/speak from a position of personal experience rather than solely theoretical knowledge from books. Once again I deeply regret my biased and hasty manner in getting my point across, and polling the forum for my own personal curiosity. To all young students, your dedication to self improvement through formal education is admirable, as well as the workers, who manage to self educate while surviving in the subhuman conditions of the capitalist world.

p.s. Thanks to all Revleft members that were vigilant and brought my errors to my attention. In the future I will have better revolutionary discipline and avoid any discrimination.

It would help to point out, I am not discriminating once again. We are recruiting for an officer training program. Experience is obviously a determining factor in eligibility.

I never "chill out" when it comes to improving myself, and maintaining the best standards in all things.

I agree. I always strive to smoke the best marijuana WHENEVER possible.

On a more serious note, that apology was unnecessary, but it is appreciated nonetheless by those who mistook your message I am sure.
