So, your asking for an overtly falsified and politically revised version of history then?
Best of luck with that.

Stalinist can mean anything from suicide bomber in Turkey to a bloated social-democrat, i.e. it means very little as a term.
What Lenin personally wanted, though he had misgivings about both Stalin and Trotsky is immaterial.
And no Trotsky wasnt always a fascist spy, and I dont think that he was ever an actual fascist, however in middle class romantic style he came to associate the revolution with himself and became filled with hatred at his rejection by Soviet democracy.

This may not be what you are looking for, but Lenin drafted a series of letters, giving his appraisal of the abilities of various members of the leadership, including Trotsky and Stalin, among others. The texts are easily accessible at http://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1922/dec/testamnt/congress.htm These letters factually give Lenin's evaluations and concerns.
The claim that Trotsky in exile was working for Germany and Japan is without any foundation in fact. As Lenina R recently pointed out, even an objective Maoist is willing to concede that.

trotsky was never a fascist spy so stop this ahistoric bs, and there was no soviet democracy anymore that was gone in the early parts of the civil war.
seriously there is a lot you can critizise on trotsky but please stay with freaking facts.

Good luck trying to figure that out. History is so obscured when it comes to that time period that you'll be lucky to find anything partially true.
I once heard that Lenin said shortly before his death that Stalin must leave the party for the good of the Union. I have no idea what to think of this.

Lenin and trotsky were bolshevik internationalists, Stalin was a Beurecratic nationalist. Stalin was also a menshevik by supporting the two stage theory and by co-oping communists with national bourgeois political forces. He must have known this wouldn't have worked, since the opposite happened in russia and the revolution was in a sense successful.
