(S)he might mean that (s)he isn't a supporter of the USSR's model. There's a lot of confusion over the relationship between the USSR and socialism at large.

You'd be hard pressed to find someone who isn't anti-Juche and anti-pol pot.

Yes it is. Although it depends on who uses it, The Second International adopted the idea of the word Socialism being a first-phase and Communism being a last-phase. Karl Marx used "Socialism" and "Communism" interchangeably.

I know that... I was going to write that Mao said, "we are only working towards communism", but for some reason I don't remember I didn't.

You thought I didn't know about socialism moving to first phase moving to higher phase of communism? Oo-er... :blushing:
