This September 12th, students of UERJ (State University of Rio de Janeiro) made a protest during the foundation of the collegian restaurant in the campus (called here "bandejão"). Governor Sérgio Cabral would be present, but cancelled participation because the fascist sissy was afraid of the protest. The protesters contested the high price of the meals (R$ 3,00! While in the Feral universities the price doesn't surpass R$ 1,50).

During the protest, realized in the "Student's Building", they tried to negotiate their participation in the foundation of the restaurant and were answered with violence by the university security men. The attack begun when a employee responsible for the security tried to avoid cartoonist Carlos Latuff (They are great, comrades! Search Google Images for some of them!) recording him discussing with a student's representative.

I'll later transcript and translate the video.

A guy commented on the video, said "the students attacked and provoked", "plundered the university's patrimony", etc. I thought a student was free to move from one place to any other inside the university; I thought we had the right to protest... In events like this it's made clear what the bourgeois "popular" and center "leftist" government is for. It was also clear for anyone who was there: that the security tried to STOP THE PROTEST and the students only answered this attack.

Reactionaries try to discredit any protest, even if they benefit from it!!! That guy is also a student of UERJ. Shame on people like this.
