Ok so a few days ago (last week) it was the beginning of the school term, So i walked in, particularly "happy-go-lucky" (actually I hate that term. read "optimistic"), as I walked into the school. i was just having a nice, fun happy conversation, and i felt markedly light and bouncy.
Immediately after, however, I banged my head against against a locker about 4 times) and said "I'm so depressed I wanna die" for no real reason so my friend was like, :confused:.
I strongly suspect that this is just pretentious teenage mood swings. But i just wanted to see what you guys thought might be the cause of it. Because Revlefters are professional psychologists... :rolleyes:
Maybe the fact that there's a smidgeon of doubt about what it is shows that it's just pretentious mood swings...

That happens to me all the time.

^ yeah. the change was weird, though: It was the first day since the summer holidays and i literally had not done anything at school for about 6 weeks. Anyway, i'm happy now.
And the change was almost instantaneous...
btw, thanks...

Seems to me you were making an adjustment to fit the needs of the schooling system ;) Don't worry about it, even in college during debates I sometimes ( unintentionally actually ) slam my head against the desk when I hear some arguments presented, ie. recently: female genital mutilation is ok because the women in those societies actually are thankful for it.
At least the person who says this and sees me go *thunk* go bewy bewy quiet!

Yeah but it was (seemingly) for no reason... and it was instantaneous! My sentence was like this,
"So hey man how was your summer? I did a two week intensive swimming course. It was really fun, I- (SLAMS HEAD AGAINST LOCKER)- OH WHY OH WHY??? WHAT'S THE POINT???"

secretly the school is sending subconscious signals to the pupils so they are more likely to fall in line. They were specifically targeting you because you were "too happy", that can't be allowed.
:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Few things can cause things like this diet, also there is often the subconscious realization of "your at school now" no one likes being there.

Sorry to hear about your suicidal thoughts. Thoughts alone are enough to need to seek help.

i say this every day... point is i dont really meant it, so when you said it you felt like it also?If yes, i dont think going from happy to suicide thoughts its what you see every day so once again i will have to say that you might need to take this outside revleft and to some professionals.They can surely help you more than the nothing(most of us) we can offer really.
and idiots... stop fucking trolling serious threads:rolleyes:

I would suggest seeing a mental health professional if these thoughts persist.Intensive mood swings can be a sign of deeper troubles,I hear,so if these thought swings continue please seek professional help.There is no shame in seeing a consular or therapist.
Feel better soon :)

Just to comment;
I would say that the worst years of my life were the ones I spent in school. Im 25. When my friends come up to me and start reminicing about school and talking about how great it is I immediatly think to myself "what an impoverished life you must have lived since then!". My advice, dig your feet in comrade and bear it out - things will get better - especially when you go to college ( the best time of my life).
