free fridge for poor people in Quebec

Hydro Quebec (province nationalized electric company) is giving away credits for new electricity saver fridge.

If you are an extremely poor people (salary below the 18k) or an extremely poor family (individual member earning 22k) hydro Quebec will reinburse most of what the new fridge cost.

i earn 26k a year and i am borderline. I still got some surplus, but if i had a car i would be almost broke by now, eveybody i know who earn this kind of money have a truckload of creditcard and credit marging debts.

if you earn less than 26k a year, the only way you have to live is to get a public housing, eat crappy food or have somebody to live with in order to share the financial burden.

the avearge amount of money somebody on the dole receive is 700 dollars a month, slightly more if you have children, i think its around 200 a month more per kid.
