When profits go before everything, for most of the hours of the day, i.e. for 8 hours 5 days a week your only purpose is to great profits for someone else, stuff like this happens.

A mother grieving her child is a natural thing, yet if it slows down production of profits you can't have it.

Sure we can argue the justness of it from a market capitalist perspective, but is this the best we can do?

Forget about capitalism, she can be fired on the basis of free association. If the firms owners or employees don't want to work with this person, why should the lawcourts force them to work together?
