Hello fellow left-leaning citizens,
I am a 16 year old self-proclaimed stalinist from the rather (unfortunately) right-wing 'republic' of Estonia.
I first visited this forum a few years ago
and have frequently looked into various threads posted here, and now
I have decided to formally introduce myself as well.
The situation of the left here in Estonia is not the greatest
since my country is plagued with rising nationalism and xenophobia and
so there is no formal communistic or otherwise leftist movement around.
I hope that you my fellow revlefters will accept me into your community despite my controversial outlook on leftist ideology and
I wish you all the best.

Welcome! Glad to have you on board! :)

I've heard bad things about Estonia supporting the destruction of ww2 monuments and allowing fascism to thrive. I was wondering what the public opinion on this is. Is the general public supportive of such actions? Or is it a smaller group with more influence that supports this?

Thank you all for accepting me so warmly my comrades :)
but yes regrettably the public here does support the destruction
and utter removal of anything that can be remotely classified as "leftist".
The right-wing way of thought has been firmly entrenched here
since the second declaration of independence and thus people are
a lot more forgiving when it comes to fascism, it is a sad sight to
see the symbol of the estonian legion every day as it is now
on a large pillar overlooking one of our biggest squares downtown.
