Don't you just "love" the bourgeois media? :(

Wow, its been a while since I have seen some commercials as overtly homophobic/reactionary as the Milwaukee's best - no. 19 is especially offensive - the dude is crushed to death for crossdressing.
The bourgeois media - especially in commercials and advertising, still uses overt and even at times more subtle ways of portraying homophobia and racism in its campaigns as a way of turning status-quo reactionary chuckles into dollars.
They have no incentive to seem more progressive in their ads. Their objective is to sell as much of the product they are advertising as possible - thus why they continue to cater to, and be allowed to cater to racists and homophobes via advertisement - really sickening bullshit.

I wouldn't necessarily call the last 5 "homophobic" , I think they would classify as sexist instead. They say all men should act a certain way, and if they fail to act that way they don't deserve to be called men, its stupid as shit and reactionary, but i don't see how it relates directly to being gay. Instead its attacking men who its (the commerical) views as "lowering" themselves to the same level as a woman, which is sexist.

I would agree with that statement but you have to remember that in the mind of the bigoted that men who display "feminine" mannerisms are considered gay.I am not sure how much of actual gender comes into the question, though there is some interpretation both ways.

Most of these commericals send a message condoning bully people for falling out of the line with masculine identity. Be interested to email Mr.T given he is supposedly a pacifist and ask if it is ok to hurt people by throwing items at people who choose to speed walk. This sort of message tells me to bet their friends back into submission and annihilate actual gay men.

those light beer commercials were the stupidest things i've ever seen. I'm surprised something like that was even allowed to air

Those Milwaukee's best commericals are terrible. Those should be pulled for being so sexist and homophobic.

Well, if you were a real man, then obviously you'd know why.
These ads make me sick. They remind me of a scene I saw outside Safeway several months ago: a four-year-old boy tripped and fell to the ground, and understandably he started crying; in response, his adult female companion (presumably his mother) instructed him to "quiet down; boys don't cry." For the love of God, I thought to myself, the boy's four years old and he's in pain!
It pisses me off how, in this way, a human with a penis is taught practically from birth to suppress any expression of vulnerability, and to hate anything "weak." The fact that we have to work so hard to instill that mindset into boys tells me that, on balance, it does not work to their advantage.

The bourgeois media system has found ways to cater both to LGBT and homophobic people...

These commercials convince me more and more that at the root of homophobia is sexism. Again, it's "stooping to a woman". People who say that "sexism doesn't exist" should read the news more, because suicide and murder of homosexual males still happens. Not only that, but out of the 5 nations that give the death penalty to gay men, 2 allow homosexuality in women, because these sick fucks like to watch :rage:

Number 2 has nothing to do with homosexuality though... Number 6 is more about getting raped than anything else.
I got bored with them so I'm not going to watch the rest. So far (except for the snickers kiss) they haven't been homophobic at all.
