Yes, but identity politics has always been about identity issues, not working class issues. Those who engage in identity politics may at times engage working class issues when it suits them, but mostly they are infiltrated by bourgeois liberal activists, who don't for one minute believe in the importance and historical necessity of the working class taking political power.

I agree with you, but to play devil's advcoate, surely working class matters are "identity" issues since you know, working class is an identify the same as being black ro something, they're just qualified differently.
