(Puyallup, WA) Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa, International Vice Presidents, community members, and elected leaders will join hundreds of Teamsters and their community partners for a rally at the Fred Meyer Distribution Center in Puyallup on Friday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. to demand a fair contract for Teamster grocery warehouse workers at Fred Meyer.
The rally will start at the Puyallup Recreation Center at 808 Valley Ave. NW in Puyallup. Participants will march across the street to the Fred Meyer Distribution Center.
I can't post links but it's on the Teamsters117 website.

Arrived at the rally at 2:00 with my Class War poster, which drew a lot of attention. We stood in a group in front of the Teamster Truck and heard jimmy and a Senator tell us the same shit. I didn't really like how Jimmy said we are in Afghanistan and Iraq for freedom. Anyway, we then marched to the Fred Meyer Distribution center, which they blocked off with a gate and some security guards. We stood and chanted for about 10 minutes, then went back to the street and blocked traffic for another 10 minutes. We then were told to go back to the truck, and that is when my friend and I left.
Sadly I wasn't very impressed with it. The Teamster Coucil director or whatever was wearing a suit which looked like a 5,000$ suit, and driving a BRAND NEW CORVETTE! I was asking about this to some of the people and they didn't really have much to say. I was really hoping to stay and block traffic longer to give a much bigger message, but the Teamsters seem like just another corrupt union. That is my opinion.
Anyway I'll link to some pics once they get edited and uploaded.
