Hello and good day to everyone!
I am Wildjap, a leftist living in South Africa!

Currently I'm in my last year of high school and will be studying software development next year! I love programming. I am in full support of communism and believe that one day, in the future, em capitalists will finally see through all the propaganda and lies they have been fed and see that communism is indeed the way of the future!

(Paragraph edited out!)

Here in South Africa we also have a communist party. Unfortunately I would never vote for them as they are just as corrupt as the ANC (leading party), and in my opinion: they are so misguided that I bet the majority of their members don't even know the true idea/purpose of communism or socialism.

I believe that we should be working towards a system whereas the people govern the land, where everything is free to you as long as you contribute in some substantial way to the society/system. A system that aims to benefit the whole and not a minority and one that aims at "actually" ending hunger, poverty and all forms of oppression. As far as I am aware, communist is the only system that fits the above criteria.

I am extremely glad to have stumbled across this website while searching for my weekly dose of communism :) It had everything I need. An enormous depository of leftist literature/material and plenty of fellow comrades of which I can converse with. The one thing that I really want to learn from this site is how to, through discussion and conversations, convert capitalists to communism.

Did you just say the Neo-Nazi Turner Diaries was awesome? Would you like to clarify?

Well, I was more interested in the new government they formed in the book. Which was kinda like socialism. I'm not racist at all!
I agree though that it's not a good book in the since that its pro nazi! (I'll edit it out of the introduction!)

Welcome to Revleft comrade! You sound like an interesting guy! I don't really know much about the 'current' political situation in South Africa but would like to find out! See you round the forum.

By the way, can anyone tell me how to gain reputation and rep power?
I have noticed a "Add to ###'s reputation" icon above each post, does it simply add reputation to that person if you click it?

Thank you, and to you too! I see that this site has alot things to keep you busy. Tonnes of very very good literature(discussions) and I have even visited the chat page, and I must say that my fellow RevLeft comrades over here are very interesting to talk to!

I am slightly disappointed though that RevLeft does not have a podcast yet! Having one can be very interesting. Something of the sort where a couple of members are invited to join in a chat/discussion or where audio lessons can be uploaded by fellow comrades.

Having not read the book but knowing the basics it isn't socialism unless you don't understand socialism. It was just xenophobic bullshit with paranoid delusions of grandeur mixed in by the inadequate feelings of the racialist William Pierce who is thankfully dead unfortunately far too late to stop the damage he spread with his bullshit pandering.

Thanx EvilRedGuy :D One of the things that i really want to do is to make a leftist game that we can put on the Internet for free so that we can spread our influence. I'm currently thinking of a game along the lines of: you start of as a single man/woman that decides to start a socialist/communist party in a particular country (can't decide on which one to choose, probably england, its nice and small which makes it easier). Once the party has started he/she will attempt to gain as many followers/members as possible to maximize votes in local and national elections! As the game progresses more options become available (underground milita training groups, TV advertisements, coup d'état, etc). The main goal will be to establish and maintain a socialist/communist government for 16 years. Once a new government is established things dont get easier. For example, most capitalist countries will embargo it and the player will have to find a way around this!
Anyone can comment on ideas :D Thanx:thumbup1:
