In Denmark and Norway we have something called "Popular Socialism" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_Socialism Now what is it actually, to be specific? Some radical social democracy? In Denmark they seem to be working a lot with the social democrats, atleast recently.

It is not a defined seperate ideology. Rather it is more a left wing section of the social democratic vision. So yes...exactly how you described it.

I'd never heard of this before and looked it up on wikipedia. It sounds sorta like Eurocommunism, is that fair?

Is this the Scandinavian iteration of Bolivarian Socialism in Latin America?

Not quite, though it overlaps. It is left wing social democracy or maybe the compromising side of socialism. Some Eurocommunists fall into those categories but not all do.

If the norwegian SV is popular socialists, then yes, it's sort of left social democracy. They hardly offer any opposition to the social democratic party, which they sit in government with.
