Seeing that you only joined today & this particular topic is your first thread I'd say that if I didn't know any better you are probably a troll. Tell me, why do you think they are wrong if you are a genuine leftist?

Capitalism is an immoral, self-destructive ideology that centralises power in the hands of a small priveleged ruling class whilst exploiting the vast majority of people - working people - who create all wealth in society whilst people who do not do anything productive for society enjoy the fruits of their labour. That system routinely goes through crises which seem to be becoming eveyr more severe whilst the inherent flaws in the economic system are building up and weakening it. Leaving millions unemployed in wealthy countries, millions in precarious employment, millions in poverty and a centralisation of wealth unseen for a century.
Socialism offers an alternative system in which people can be ensured a good life in terms of material conditions (stable work, decent housing etc), where people can have a say in both their own communities and places of work and where there is no exploitation of the many by the few and where crises do not regularily ravage the economy.
Thats the sum of it really.

its p. silly how this thread is worded but yeah everyone is wrong because they are wrong on this basic level. They think that something that has no specific owner simply has no owner and is sort of waiting for someone to claim it, when in reality it belongs to everyone, and private ownership of a thing is effectively stealing from everyone.

I don't know about religious people, but rightists are generally wrong because they assume that capitalism is the last stage of human social evolution. Without considering the contradictions that allow for its great flaws.

Note, Right-wing =/= Capitalism
Ever heard about Feudalism? If you go right enough, you'll eventually reach there.
What I do wish for there to be a capitalist left (Radicals, Classical Liberals who are not Libertards) once more. (So, we don't get libertards, free-marketeer conservatives, and other such BS. And, scare off the Marxist-Leninists (Stalinist types) and Maoists to the dustbin of history. No offense to Marxist-Leninists/Maoists.
Also, the Khmer Rouge are not leftists, if anything, they are either syncretic or even right-wing.

The bourgeois left-wing have been long gone in the dustbin of history. Even if you were to bring Maximilien Robespierre himself into modern day, he would be nothing more than a Liberal at best and a Libertarian at worst in these material conditions. Not to mention libertarianism is the ideological successor to classical liberalism, so I don't see how could come to such a conclusion. I suggest you get over the nostalgia.

They support a state. States are inherently oppressive and coercive, they are unjust. They force their religious values on society, not to mention imperialism ect. They are just delusional reactionary idiots.. Their utopia was when Reagan was president..

Can you be more specific? Why am I not a right-winger? Because those ideas will not make my life or the lives of those around me better, it will not give us more power in our lives and so on. For me and most people I know to be free we have to have more control over our daily lives, which means not letting profits determine how we live our lives, how much we work or how much we suffer. I just read about a 24 year old guy who couldn't pay to go to the dentist and died of a cavity here in the US. These ideas do us no good.

Everything my comrade just said about the state and religion being tools of control is accurate and in accordance with history and our present conditions. I personally feel it is constrictive and useful to always be asking ourselves in what ways we are wrong and why. Everytime I submit my anarcho-communist tendencies to scrutiny I am assured further that I am being true to myself as a person. I think a right/wrong construct is not adequate to fully appreciate the depths in which our stances on things differ from rightwing conservative extremist fundy freemarket judeo-Christian capitalist/imperialist beougoisie wall street lobbying elitist racist cold-blooded greedy enemies stances. The examples are so many and so blatant that it is truly a travesty that we even struggle at all. There should have been a global popular revolution centuries ago to wipe greed off the face of the earth. But we have inherited a condition in which we must struggle. Therefore, let us struggle for the right reasons, none of which you will find in the agendas of tea party types or monotheists.

Because there is something very wrong with religious people if they can pick up a Bible/Quran and genuinely believe that shit.
Also, religion has pretty much had a totally negative effect on society for millenia.

Because right wingers always lie. They base their lifes on religions which makes them ridiculous. Not to mention that they charge the "right-wing" crimes on the leftists. In addition, they use violence to express their views which is a very bad thing. In politics there should be no violence.Oh and they think the workers are idiots and should only work and do nothing else so they treat them really bad.
