How long does this restriction stand? Have I not posted intelligible posts now? I am no longer spamming or insulting.
And Malte won't answer my PMs so I posted this out in the open.

I have no idea when you got restricted or the quality of your posts. But Malte knows like any other person that you don't change from one day to another. And if you got restricted I am sure it is for a reason. Just act like a real man and don't b*tch about it. Patience is a virtue you should be introduced to. If I was you just ignore the fact you are restriced and in due time you will gain full acces to the forums too. I would love to post in other sections of the forum too, but I can't and I hope that I will sometime ...

yeah, but those four to five months were spent calling people neo-liberals, hippies or trotskyists anytime you disagreed with them.
if you have changed, give it some time and you'll get noticed. just don't raise the issue too prominently cause people won't really trust that. I'll pick up your cause if I see it's true, I haven't seen any of your recent posts, so we'll see.

I am no longer in the way you describe me, I have been posting civil and very interesting (to me) posts and threads on Joyce, Shakespeare, Naturalism, etc., and I thought it would get more discussion in Philosophy or literature.

I think the for elijahcraig being restricted was not exclusively his behaviour but that and him being a Marxist-Leninist. He does have a lot of intelligent and good natured things to say on subjects such as those he mentioned. So I think he is valuable and unrestricting him is positive if he maintains behaviour in accordance of what is expected here, which he has already proven capable of.

"Intelligible" is a great deal different from "intelligent." I don't think anyone ever accused you of not possessing the former quality; if anything, you possessed a bit too much of it.
I recall that one of the more old-days, smarter capitalists pulled this one, too. I think it might have been Norman, but it could have been someone else.

it's not so much that we are hippies or whatever, it's that you call us utopians, liberals, or whatever everytime we tell you we disagree with you.
I'm not a utopian, a liberal, a trotskyist or any of that bullshit. and you have called me that. I don't see what calling me a hippy, which is true but not in the usual sense, has to do with an intelligent debate. I could say, "shutup, you're just a Lenninist!" to everything you say instead of engaging in a debate with you, but that would get nothing of substance. try to actually discuss things with people and they'll be alot nicer.
Now you calling us all mostly hippies, etc... doesn't help your case. I will be open to give you a chance however, if you actually have changed, unlike most people. Understand though, if you blow it, you will be banned.

I wasn't threatening, sorry.
what I meant, was you will likely be banned, because just in this thread there have been people calling for your banning. I'm telling you that if you're given some trust and allowed another chance, blowing it will likely result in alot of very angry people, so don't ask to be given one if this is just an act. Cause I'm pretty sure they will get the support they need to ban you if you turn out to just be acting.
however, if this is real, it's a welcome change and you would be given a blank slate. but you'd have to prove it's real to everyone.
I would support a sort of probation. I say you should be unrestricted but given a clear guideline of some sort of disciplinary action if it doesn't work. It's nothing personal, but I see this kind of a turnaround as a sketchy thing, and no one here likes their trust abused. so it has to be a serious punishment. if one of these days desert fox decided to tell us he's a communist I would ask for the same sort of probation for him too. and the punishment I would ask for is banning.

I find this thread to be rather ironic, being that you called Malte a "little *****," (I think it was) and all.
I haven't seen your work lately but I do recall once having a decent conversation with you for a short time untill you started being insulting and when I pointed it out, you were flat out reactionary. I think you could function well in discussion and I would possibly think it a good idea to agree you have a chance, if I had so much as an apology from you. Until I see this sort of action taken, I can only think this is a short-lived fucade to be reinstated.

Yes, I don't really have much input on this one anyway. I find his insults intelligently coruscating. My view is in absolute contradistinction to those who criticise him. But, as I said, if he adheres to what is expected of behaviour here it would be good if he is unrestricted since he is intelligent. Perhaps he may be a little volatile, but I never feel he goes over the top. And, he is rational and reasonable. It is Unfortunate that he has offended people but if he is conscious of that as he has said.

Haha, on point. I questioned his intentions of being a communist months ago. To me, he always seemed more interested in defending his personal veiws than actually discussing anything and defending Stalin whether he is attacked or not. Maybe he will change as fast as in the past but where is the assurance of actual commitment? We should demand that if nothing else.

Well he can follow their ideology but not every action he does should be seen as a action for his ideology. He seems intelligent when I read some of his posts, but everyone can lose their temper or have a bad day and use rather lame threats or flames. It doesn’t have to do with DISAGREEING, it has to do with a particular behavior of pattern I see, which I categorize as something in order to either a) give you a chance to voice your exact opinions of the category or b) cast you off as irrelevant.
Chairman Mao and I disagree on virtually every issue concerning morality, family, “socialist” leaders, etc., but you never hear me calling him a Owenite, why? Because he discusses things from the point of view of a Marxist.

Well, know that a few people are attempting to present your case now.
just some tips:
a) make the apology that was suggested/requested. just say you're sorry to the member who asked for it, and also address the community at large and appologize.
b) it is not your place to decide wether one person is a utopian socialist who doesn't deserve to be called a marxist or not. and no matter how wrong someone is about marx, or how anarchist they might be, they have the right to be. Just disagree and don't label. This is not a meeting place of Marxists, though most of us are, it is a gathering of Leftists.
c) Marx is not god, and saying he didn't believe in something doesn't prove it un-leftist. You have to provide reasons and be open to debate.
That's pretty much it, good luck on your transformation. Though I still think you need to take some valium, you do seem to be improving.

Well, I am glad to see you can at least give an oversimplified version of our converstaion. I would though, like to know if you still think someone disagreeing with you on these points and trying to have a decent conversation merits irrational insults that put an effective end to your intellectual participation.
I never claimed to be an authority on communism. I am though, a communist and I know at least the basic premises, that is all that is needed to see that anyone who turns down an opportunity to practice communist activities, is not being a communist. I should hope you don't think you are a perfect communist. If you ever continued discusion with me for a while without resorting to insults, you might have a better understanding of my political beliefs but as it is, I don't hold you as any authority on communism either.
Thank you for the commitment to accepting the conciquence of a banning, maybe you have changed, if you get a chance, we will see. As of yet, you haven't really insulted me, its a refreshing change of pace at least.

I don’t agree here. I mean, I have no “objective” voice on what you are, but I can definitely “compare” you to another ideology if I feel it appropriate. Hell, RS does that pretty much EVERY post.
c) Marx is not god, and saying he didn't believe in something doesn't prove it un-leftist. You have to provide reasons and be open to debate.
I don’t quite know what this means.

Sorry, that's just my personal opinion...which I have no reason to apologize for.
What the fuck? That is the single most absurd thing I have ever heard you say.
Are you some sort of left-leftist? Really, I want to know. Do you have something against anarchists?
How the hell can you compare the severity of fascist oppression to the the ultimate form of social freedom?
It would be nice if you would explain. "...which I have no reason to apologize for," is a bad way to finish a statement without justification or any sort of reasoning behind it.

I like Alexander Berkman, he is the only anarchist I respect.
The rest have spent their petit bourgeois time uprooting communist revolutions or protesting against them from other countries.
So, yes, I have something against anarchists.

The absurdity of the statement is the comparison, not the ideologies.

You asked for an apology for something which I don't feel deserves one, and which has no reasoning behind asking for one.
