Amen to that! Thank you, revtool, for saying what I believe! It's not like that's hard to figure out. Regarding the Prez's lack of concern for workers, I bet Obama's plan for fighting joblessness (which is currently running at nearly 16%, according to the web) will be to give more tax breaks to the exploiting class, which is what Republicans do, I think.

May it be forever remembered that it was Obama who put Medicare and Social Security "on the table," i.e., on the chopping block, during the debt ceiling crisis. It seems to me that he was and is ready to rip apart the only social safety net that the sick, the elderly, retired people, etc., have.

The most upsetting thing, to my mind, is the near certainty that Obama will get another 4 years in office, in the absence of any workers' or left party on the ballot (because of restrictive legislation that guarantees the political monopoly of two big bourgeois parties) and as voters react against whatever GOP wingnut opposes him. Four more years of jobless "recovery," intensified US aggression in the Middle East, Guantánamo, military tribunals, etc. All of which demonstrates that US "democracy" is a shell game, which workers cannot win, in all these Tweedledum/Tweedledee elections. (Please forgive me for repeating myself, but it is a point that needs to be made.)

Don't tell anyone, but all of that is just Comrade Obama trying his best to initiate world-wide revolution, at great risk to himself.
He's just PRETENDING to be a Corporate Sellout™ so as to better steer events towards glorious Revolution.

When all of the dust settles, many years from now, the whole world will gratefully remember him as "Obama, the Destroyer of The Great Satan".

Now remember, not a word of this to anyone, OK? ;) It's a secret.
