Bourgeois: "Boor-zwah", that's the adjective btw, Bourgeoisie "Boor-zwhah-se" is the noun.

Bourgeoisie just another term for the Capitalist class (Not a "middle class", which doesn't really exist for Marxists), which you can splinter into small Capitalists like the self-employed and shopkeepers. (Petty-Bourgeoisie).

Bourgeois is pronounced boor-jwah, it no longer refers to the middle class it refers to the ruling class within capitalism, the middle class in capitalism is usually referred to as petit-bourgeois and describes those who are between proletarians and bourgeoisie i.e they work but also own some capital.
