Alright, so Die Rote Fahn and I have decided to both GM this, it's more or less going to be a rather straight forward sandbox style forum game.
Basically, if you're interested in playing, just post in the topic a vacant position that you want to take or with any sort of role you might want to come up with yourself and we will add you to the game. From there, you can post in the topic from the perspective of your character, with your actions being calculated into the games next turn.
Any covert actions, such as rebellions, military affairs, or anything involving plans you wouldn't want posted to the topic, can be put into a private message to me before the games next turn.
We will start the game once we have all of the major positions filled, such as the President and some of the key legislative roles.
Additionally, to anyone who may not of seen the obvious similarities, credit for the template belongs to Ismail as we have more or less just adapted the information from his outline to fit the needs of this game.
The collapse of the USA - Govism forum game.
Backstory:
The elections of 2012 see the rise to power of the Republican candidate Rick Perry to the White House. Upon arriving in the halls of power, Perry quickly proceeds to escalate US involvement in the middle east, even going so far as to reignite fighting in Iraq through his staunch stance of opposition to Iran in the region, while at the same time sparking heightened tensions in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Heeding the advice of his militaristic leaning cabinet, he begins to pour billions of dollars into the US military, at the expense of domestic spending. This coincides with a disastrous string of tax cuts and a program which privatizes social security, Medicare, and Medicaid, made possible by a solidly Republican congress and the extended influence of libertarian leanings of the tea party caucus. The US government begins to fall severely into debt due to losses in revenue and the economic downturn which is encouraged by these policies, leading the the emergence of a massive social unrest throughout the American Northeast and Pacific Northwest. Socialist groups throughout these regions being to rapidly grow in membership numbers and in popularity.
The defeat of Barack Obama itself has caused an uproar in the liberal community, and the rise of a new political party, founded by Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and activist Ralph Nader, arises to the occasion in mid 2013. The “Progressive Party” as it is called, becomes a divider in the Democratic party, seeing politicians such as Dennis Kucinich and Alan Grayson leave the Democrats for the Progressive Party. With Kucinich losing his seat in the House of Representatives after the 2012 round of redistricting in Ohio and Grayson out of a seat after the 2010 midterm elections, they storm the national stage in the 2014 elections as the head of this new movement. At the same time, the corporate funded Tea Party sees the rise of it’s own candidates to power at the expense of the Republican moderates, as Ron Paul heads the front on a platform of states rights and Laissez-Faire economic policy. Paul has seen increased support from the defeat of Barack Obama, and his base expands beyond minor cult followers to a wider base of disillusioned and uneducated workers and the petite-bourgeois.
With the Democratic vote split between those who defected to the newly founded Progressive Party and those who stayed loyal to the moderate wing of the party in 2016, Perry easily wins a majority in the Electoral College to secure a second term. During this period, the Democratic party continues to see a mass migration of its ranks to the Progressive Party as a result of increasing tension over rising unemployment rates and continued cuts to social spending as undertaken by President Perry’s administration. They make gains in the 2018 midterm elections, but mostly in seats previously held by democrats.

Is there potential for a fascist movement to be sparked in areas with more mixed politics in the midwest and mid-atlantic? If so I would like to lead that, if not then I would like to be Rand Paul.

Yes, but they would likely just be an extension of the existing fascist rebel organization. You could start your own organization, but it would likely be comparatively small due to the limited base of support for that ideology in the region.

OOC: Is there any chance we'll get a map of the U.S.?
In Character: It is my opinion that our brave men and women stationed overseas have committed themselves heart, soul, and mind, to the war effort. The need for a prolonged military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan are purely situational, and must be assessed as such. We are looking at a myriad of different opposition forces in either country, all of which are largely opposed - even violently so - to our boots on the ground. However, due to the reality on said ground, it is my belief that a drawdown of American troops and personnel is imminent. After two decades of intense fighting, armed resistance to our men and women and the respective governments of Iraq and Afghanistan has finally begun to wind down. I have toured these countries extensively in my time as Chairman, and it has become clear to me that situation has been stabilized. There is no better time to bring our brave servicemen and women back home, to their families and loved ones. After looking over various reports, data, and personally visiting and inspecting the situation, I have come to the conclusion that it is time to begin a phased drawdown of American military members in Iraq and Afghanistan. I request that President Palin sit down with members of Congress with the intent of seeing this through. Having analyzed this, I suggest a phased withdrawal be implemented on a year by year basis which will be modified according to the need and situation of either respective nation. I hereby submit this request to the President and members of Congress for review.

Our nation has been crippled for too long by excessive government spending and suffocated by over regulation. It is time that we get serious and make the changes needed to save our great country. I call for a complete audit of government spending and the creation of joint committee that will investigate the results of this audit and work together with representatives from the private sector to find private sector solutions to our spending problems. It will also work with these representatives to find what changes need to be made to our regulation and tax system to make our economy more hospitable to investment and job growth.

News for Late 2020:
Election Results
Presidency:
Republican: Paul Ryan/Tim Pawlenty 18%
Democratic: Hillary Clinton/Tom Vilsack 14%
Tea Party: Sarah Palin/Michelle Bachmann 31%
Progressive: Dennis Kucinich/Bernie Sanders 29%
Other: 7%
Electoral College
Republican: 34
Democratic: 32
Tea Party: 325
Progressive:147
Other: 0
The Tea Party goes on to secure majorities in the House and the Senate, after the Republican party continues to experience continued losses to the new political entity. The progressive party also goes on to gain seats from previously Democratic held territories, mainly in the Northeast and Paciifc Northwest.
Voter turn out was 71.4%
* Sarah Palin is elected President of the United States of America. Michelle Bachman is elected as her Vice President.
* Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff John E. O’Harris proposes a plan of US withdrawal from the middle east as President Perry’s term comes to a conclusion, drawing substantial criticism from the ruling Tea Party as well as Republicans. No congressional committee touches on it and it is ignored by the office of the President. He does however become a popular figure in the progressive community for what they view as a ‘staunch anti war stance’.
* Political and social tensions from the right mount on newly sworn in President Palin to remove the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs from his post after his public opposition to its foreign policy
* The recent jump in radical militia membership has some in government worried of the possibilities of anti-government violence. It is believed that all Militias, excluding the Tea party friendly “Rally to Restore American Honour”, have been subject to wiretapping. No substantial evidence has been found for this, though the Red Worker Militia is openly condemned as a threat by most right wingers in government, whilst calls by the Progressive Party to ban and dismantle the Confederate Rebels has been mostly ignored by the Tea Party.
*Senate Majority leader Rand Paul offers a populist anti government bill to the legislature designed to audit government spending by creating a joint investigative committee of congress to look into cost reducing measures and private sector options in economic expansion. The measure passes and is voted into law, but it has little practical effect. The act does however improve the senators image considerably with the Tea Party base.
*Mounting US debt prompts cries for action from economists from both sides of the aisle, as foreign investment markets lose faith in the strength of the US markets.
*Rising unemployment rates and economic decline, a lack of social spending to alleviate conditions and the victory of the Tea Party in the elections, prompts riots in various Northern and Pacific cities throughout the nation. Riot police end up violently suppressing many of the protests as they begin to turn militant. According to official reports, 83 civilian deaths and 20 police casualties are reported.
In International News
BBC:The recent victory of the far right wing Sarah Palin has caused concern among the ruling Labour party in Britain as BNP support is on the rise. The government, nonetheless, sends its congratulations to Sarah Palin and an offer to discuss the American situations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Al Jazeera: Riots in the progressive districts of the USA have seen the death of upwards of 90 civilians and 35 police. Reports from witnesses suggest police had no restraint as they brutalized any who resisted. The leftist militia has stated it’s public opposition to police brutality, and calls on the workers and citizens to protest peacefully, yet provocatively.
CBC: The coalition (NDP-Green-Liberal) Canadian government of Prime Minister Yvon Godin has asked the newly elected President to hold discussions on reforming NAFTA and to increase relations. Prime Minister Godin has also criticized the use of excessive force by the police in the recent riots.
The Guardian: False accounts of the casualty toll of riots have been given to the public via another news service. The death toll has been confirmed as lower than reported. Calls by the UN to remedy the riots in a civilized manor are also being ignored by the current US government.
Russia Today: The US Government continues to oppress the freedom seeking people of Alaska with its increasingly authoritarian and brutal measures of rule. With the recent election of Tea Party candidate Sarah Palin, it is exceedingly likely that this conflict will only grow in intensity in the months to come.

The recent rioting in heavily urban areas of the country amounts to hooliganism of the worst sort. I urge the Tea Party and the Progressives to find peaceful means of resolving the crisis, and hold out hope that the people themselves will realize that violence is not the answer to our problems. The democratic structures of our government were put in place as a means for the people to voice their disapproval and dissent. Rioting against an election that was free and fair has no place in civil society. Congratulations to President Palin, on behalf of myself and the Armed Forces of America! The military stands with the will of the people and our fine democracy, and wish you the best in your new role.

This debt is become unbearable. We need to make cuts and quite frankly some of these cuts will to things we like, but in the end they will strengthen our country. So I propose to the congress a bill that would do the following:
- decrease military spending by 5 credits and in process bring begin bring home half of our troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan by 2022.
- cut the corporate and capital gains taxes down to 10%. By doing this we will make it cheaper for businesses to operate with our country.

While I applaud Rand Paul's proposals, I feel it necessary that - on behalf of the nation's armed forces - I state my opposition to plans to reduce military spending. Doing so only serves to weaken American interests at home and abroad, and could potentially undermine national security. I request that Mr. Paul consider reducing the number of credits proposed in the original letter from 5 to 3.
However, I would like to endorse the rest of Mr. Paul's proposal - especially the request that we begin a phased drawdown of American troops and personnel by 2022.

How about this. We institute the budgets cuts to military in two stages. The first stage will be 3 credits and then the second stage will be 2 credits. This way we can see what happens after the first set and then we can adjust the next set accordingly. But in exchange for this we will have to start privatizing some government services to help cut the debt.

From the National Office of the Progressive Party of the United States of America
http://i781.photobucket.com/albums/yy96/dattoaster/ppusa.png
Dear America,
Though we did not win the presidency, we will continue to work for a better America with help of our elected local officials, mayors, governors, Senators and Congressmen. We do not condone and we did not provoke any party member to protest violently or hurt any public servant in the process. We send condolences to those fallen protesters and policemen who were killed in violent protests in the New England and Pacific regions.
Moving on to the issues that are griping our nation most, unemployment has risen to the unacceptable level of 18%. That is nearly one-fifth of the American people without jobs and struggling to keep themselves and their families from falling to poverty and homelessness. We need progressive solutions, not free market solutions.
This is a tough time for America, the toughest in decades. The progressive solution is clear: Pull out of the Middle East.
This is no longer a simple request for Peace, this is a request to direct our government's money to other proactive things. Peace is cheaper than War. We have spent more than twice the length of World War II in the Middle East, from 2001 on. We must bring our troops and our budget home. We must decrease military spending by 8 credits.
We spend more national budget on war than anything else. We need to be spending more money on nearly everything else. The Environment, Job Training, Education, Agriculture and Community Development in particular.
If the Free Market will not give jobs to our people, we, the US government, must either supply our people with jobs, or give them money to support themselves.
That being said, we feel in the tradition of American progress, the House must ratify a new amendment: The Second Bill of Rights. This concept was conceived by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, our beloved 32nd president who lead our country out of the Great Depression and through World War II. This Second Bill of Rights would include these rights to all Americans:
Employment, with a living wage,
Freedom from unfair competition and monopolies,
Housing,
Medical care,
Education, and,
Social security
We must guarantee the hardworking American people to the standard of living they deserve.

Chairman Dennis Kucinich

Press Release
The recent riots in the northeast are an unfortunate event, tarnished even more with possible indications of radical groups attempting to guide unrest in their own direction. These groups are by and large uninterested in democracy or the freedoms we hold dear, much like the Islamists our brave men and women fight overseas.
As such the Department of Homeland Security is looking into anything that mind indicate radical political groups have been encouraging violent acts against law enforcement, municipal governments, and businesses; sometimes even their own neighbors, as we saw in many of the riots.
Who ever these hooligans are, they are adhering to bankrupt and genocidal ideologies that history has proved wrong time and time again. We know that it was people like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin who rose off manipulation of anger towards a poor economy, and we saw what horrific crimes they unleashed upon their peoples. This can not be allowed to happen here. It can't happen here.
We encourage any citizens to work with local law enforcement to bring any person with violent tendencies to justice, for the safety of our nation. We must deal with the substantial mess the European-style politics of Barack Obama, which has created an environment in which both Islamist and communist demagogues flourish in. And we all know that neither are interested in holding up the principles of liberty and freedom we hold dear.

"...Red Worker Militia is openly condemned as a threat by most right wingers in government..."
We are only a threat to those who oppose the people.
"...calls by the Progressive Party to ban and dismantle the Confederate Rebels has been mostly ignored by the Tea Party."
Typical of right wing government. They would rather stain the name of those who seek to liberate the masses from virtual slavery than to oppose an openly racist and fascist group.
"Rising unemployment rates and economic decline, a lack of social spending to alleviate conditions... prompts riots in various Northern and Pacific cities throughout the nation. Riot police end up violently suppressing many of the protests... 83 civilian deaths and 20 police casualties..."
I have seen names being thrown at these people fighting for change and frankly am appalled. How about instead of repressing these common folk the government works with them to alleviate some of the hardships they face.

I support Mr. Paul's two-phase program for the reduction of military spending. While stability abroad is important, the true enemy is at home: those who advise America to engage in further spending. An immediate tax reduction, especially the reduction of the corporate and capital gains tax is necessary to help the economy recover by helping business flourish. This measure will also reduce unemployment by offering jobs to Americans, and thus is a key element of any successful economy stimulus program.

Uh, the KKK is supporting the confederate rebels at the moment, you could however head up their political front if you would like.
And I don't think we are going to have a 'weathermen' group, unless you can provide me with some solid details on what it would be classified as. From what I know of it, I just don't think that the historical model they used would play a large enough role to justify its inclusion in the game.
Honestly though, we really still need players for the political positions. So if you could take up the role of a party legislator, that would be of great help to us.

That is awfully extreme. These are American citizens after all. If they wish to riot then they will face the legal consequences, but to call for military to be used on our own population is irresponsible.

The Central Intelligence Agency strongly urges against a brutal state crack down on participants of the 'rising in the North East, history has shown provocation could inflame further rebellion. The CIA suggests following the line the Department of Homeland Security suggests in terms of how to deal with extremistism of the extreme Left or Right.
The Central Intelligency Agency also feels it urgent to comment that to maintain deployment on the scale U.S. global hegemony demands spending cuts of even 3 credits is far too drastic, let alone 5. Maximum credits cut on the military should be 2 credits, one credit cut next year, the next credit cut the following. Even a draw down in troops from Iraq and Afghanistan will probably mean future deployments else where to maintain global security in up coming years.
Furthermore, The Central Intelligence Agency, with great urgency would like to report that privatizing government services, studies have shown, coincides with a lack of discipline in all lines of work from government clerical bureaucracy to security - privitizing government services is a bad idea. Once government apparatuses are privatized they are subject to all manner of extra-governmental influences, and as a result discipline, reliability, and all-around national safety plummet as a result of lack of governmental coordination.

The sheer audacity of our counterparts in government to call for such a brutal crackdown on the rising in the North-East shows that the Right cares not for life, nor liberty, nor the pursuit of happiness; merely state terror, social chauvinism, and the pursuit of profit. We must not allow this to happen and we can not abide the destruction of a popular movement of rebellion against the authoritarian and destructive regime of the Palin Administration.

I would like to caution against using the military to restore order in riot-stricken areas of the country. These people represent but a tiny fraction of ordinary Americans, they're demands are negligible. We must combat their extremism through the necessary channels, and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Using the military to put down the voices of these people is undemocratic and amounts to treason against the American people - however misguided their intentions.

I am not under any circumstances advocating we cut military spending. If we did, the terrorists would destroy our America first chance they get.
We cannot involve our selves in a third war against these reactionary liberals! They are deceiving the populace into thinking they are for them, when what they really want is to steal all their hard earned property and give it out for free! We must fight their lies politically by teaching the Americans about the evils of the red menace! The massive division between poor and rich, the rising and excessive unemployment and the government's increasingly violent crackdowns of demonstrators shows that capitalism has run it's course. The CPUSA wholeheartedly support the demonstrations in the Pacific and the North, and condemns the government's violent crackdown. The CPUSA is the party representing the interests of the working class, the poor, the LGBT community and minorities. The Tea Party is turning america into a pseudo-fascist and ultracapitalist country, sponsored by the wealthy elites, and the Progressives and Democrats are only giving token resistance!

These organizations and individuals play an automatic role of funding the political organizations. We left out labor groups more or less because players generally form them of their own accord in these sorts of games. Though the AFL-CIO and other large institutions of organized labor do probably merit inclusion.

America: Imperialism or Freedom?
We don't need to be fighting wars we can't afford in the Arab World. There's a reason why our economy isn't moving and there's a reason we've been mired in an inescapable recession. We've become the modern British Empire and, like the British Empire, we've been borrowing and printing our way through imperialism and colonialism.
Like the British and Romans, our money has been toilet-papered and our Treasury Bonds are now considered garbage. Modern America is suffering from economic malaise that is compounded with a plummeting dollar and soaring food and energy bills. We are now in Imperial Collapse and China will soon surpass us in economic and technological leadership.
There was a reason that Washington and Jefferson opposed militarism and putting our collective nose in business that didn't concern us.
There was a reason Eisenhower warned us regarding the proliferation of a "Military Industrial Complex" that would use Washington as a means of committing our money and our children to perpetual war.
I've often found life to be disappointing.
Conservatives were once opposed to interventionism and imperialism.
Conservatives opposed Wilson's War in Europe and the imperial Treaty of Versailles that contributed to Hitler coming to power.
Eisenhower opposed companies like Lockheed and Gunman.
Those that once opposed imperialism have become the imperialists.
Those that once defended our strong dollar and our credit-rating are now trashing them to finance war-profiteering.
Instead of squandering money and human life on things that are meaningless, we need to be investing those resources and lives in rebuilding the American Dream.
We need to be investing in creating new jobs in clean energy.
We need to be investing in our roads, highways and railways.
We need to be investing in our children and in our health and well being.
Like the British and Romans, we do have a choice. The choice we make today will determine the future and soul of our nation.

Given the severity of the situation surrounding the activities of the Red Worker Militia, it has come to my attention that a small but large enough number of men and women serving in our nation's military hold communistic views favorable to this sect (15% to be exact). While I cannot stress the importance we in the military view as differing points of opinion, it is imperative that our brave men and women remember who it is they serve and protect. We are a force committed to the essentials of peace and stability, at home and abroad. And while I myself am not opposed to the idea of civilians organizing on whatever ideological lines they choose, such sympathies within this nation's military threaten any sense of unity and cohesiveness we have worked hard to establish. As such, it presents a direct threat to America's ability to function militarily as well as to national security.
With this in mind I have come to the conclusion that it is best to release those servicemen and women within the military who hold such sympathies with the Red Worker Militia and communism from active duty, as well as to remove them from our organization as a whole. It saddens me a great deal to see this done, but it is a vital component for ensuring our nation's stability and unwavering commitment to protecting everyday Americans - here, and abroad. Those men and women released from the military will receive generous aid and benefit packages, as well as access to those already promised when they first joined. I would emphasize that this in no way reflects on their honor and patriotism in serving to protect the American people.
Edit - This decision also comes in light of the recent riots throughout the country during which certain elements of the Red Worker Militia and other left-leaning groups were present at the scene. These radical organizations, in some instances, instigated conflict in a number of such riots. The military has received much needed intel concerning this.

News for Late 2021:
*Due to a rapidly decreasing supply and increasing demand on current stores, oil prices have skyrocketed to 150 dollars a barrel. This adds to the already quickly deteriorating state of the US and global economies while increasing a demand from economists and environmentalists alike for an increase in renewable energy investments.
*With the deadline for the passage a new budget looming on the horizon, pressure mounts on the administration to deal with the ever climbing deficit and debt situation.
* The Red Workers’ Militia institutes membership “dues” of $100/month. The funds received are used to acquire new weaponry, including assault rifles and light machine guns. Some weaponry was seized by the government. Close to half of the members report difficulties paying dues on time, or at all. At the same time, members of the RWM begin a recruiting campaign, using word of mouth and fliers to promote the RWM, it does little in terms of numbers, however, it raises some sympathy to the militia. The overall morale of the militia increases.
* The joint Chief of Staff oversees the honourable discharge of 2500 service men and women, seen to hold sympathies with the Red Workers’ Militia. They are awarded benefits, however, 200 join the RWM in New York, and 350 in LA as a result of the action. This action also imparts a heavy toll in morale, as many servicemen begin to fear the ever dreaded loyalty hearings which have become the norm within their ranks.
* Anarchist activist and Professor, John Crowley, calls for the formation of the “Anarchist Army”, a loosely connected anarchist militia.
*A highly volatile international situation emerges when the Chief of Naval Operations institutes a strict and intrusive measure of illegal searches of ships expected to be dealing in arms and drugs in international waters. This draws intense criticism from Interpol, the UN, and various national leaders outraged with this breach of international waters and open trade. As a result of this climate of economic distrust, imports to the US decrease exponentially.
*In a massive government scandal, CIA Director Rupert Giles is discovered in a conspiracy to funnel government funds tagged for covert operations to the Red Workers Militia, after a collection of individuals working on the project leak information to the press. In addition to this, he is also found to of been acting in severe violation US law in a sprawling effort to conduct espionage against a collection of Tea Party politicians. He goes into hiding somewhere in the Northern United States the FBI and the police continue their search for him.
*Workers in the American Northeast and Pacific Northwest begin flocking to a new leftist union called “Red Labor USA” as a result of the current administrations various different scandals and as a result of declining economic conditions.
*Cuba, Venezuela, and North Korea all publicly reject proposals from the Alaskan Liberation Front for funding and support.
*Speaker of the House Ron Paul dies at the age of 85. After the turmoil of this upset in the party order, the comparatively moderate Eric Cantor rises to the position. The staunchly pro war position of the president is believed to of prompted this shift in party leadership.

The Wall Street Journal: President Palin simply has to step up her political game in this upcoming budget battle. Senator Clinton announced:
The White House needs to get serious with regard to our national finances and pushing through an operating bill to fund America's agencies and services.
We can not afford another blow to our economy.
We (Democrats) are willing to work and compromise with conservatives where we can find common ground. However, we demand that a jobs bill be attached to the budget.
I will be working with our labor unions and business leaders to craft a sensible jobs bill. We need one which will revive business spending and create good middle class American jobs. Trickle down economics has failed America.

From the National Office of the Progressive Party of the United States of America:
http://i781.photobucket.com/albums/yy96/dattoaster/ppusa.png
The Progressive Party somewhat admires, but does not support, the Red Workers' Militia and Anarchist Army's genuine but unnecessary violent support for the American working class.
The Progressive Party is mainly a party split between social democrats and democratic socialists. We believe that a peaceful route to a state that protects and respects the rights of workers is possible, without having to abolish the current government entirely. We believe revolutionary socialism and anarchism at large are failed movements, especially in the United States of America.
We do not wish to offend any member of these militias, but this is our opinion. Violence will only harm your movements in the end.
The Progressive Party USA also wishes condolences to the Paul Family and for their relative and for America their Speaker of the House. May Ron Paul Rest in Peace. We hope Eric Cantor will serve responsibly as the Speaker of the House and serve his country well, as the nation trusts him too.
We condemn the actions of the U.S. Military of discharging soldiers with sympathies of the Red Workers' Militia, only in the name of civil rights, not because of any sympathies with the RWM. But ultimately, it is their loss. They have 2,500 less soldiers to fight in their aimless wars in the Middle East, which we still strongly feel need to end. 2,500 lives saved in our opinion.
The Party leadership is confused by the Front for Alaskan Freedom's attempt to receive funds from Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, as they claim to be libertarian in principle. Regardless, we feel that the Front for Alaskan Freedom should negotiate with the US government for their independence.
On Behalf of the Progressive Party of the United States of America,
Chairman Dennis Kucinich

Didn't I tell you that this Front for so-called Alaskan "Freedom" was a pack of dangerous subversives? Seeking the support of a bunch of COMMIE FASCISTS is an obvious sign that the spectre of Marxism haunts the land of liberty and opportunity. They have shown themselves to be traitors and must be crushed!
Speaking of dangerous subversives, how long are we going to allow the integrity of this nation be insulted by the likes of the Red Worker Militia? They are actually arming themselves to take over this country and the seizures of weapons is proof of that!
Why isn't that ivory tower academic locked up too? For too long our education system has been dominated by Marxists. It's time we cleaned it up!
HELL, IT'S TIME WE CLEANED UP THE WHOLE DAMN COUNTRY! I call upon the Rally to Restore American Honor to MARCH on Washington, so this nation can show its pride and how it will not allow itself to become a communist dictatorship!

Senator Clinton introduces "Rebuilding the American Dream" to the U.S. Senate.
http://www.encognitive.com/images/hillary-clinton.jpg
The American economy remains mired in recession and over 30 million Americans can't find a job. This is the worst economic downturn since the Depression.
Like Hoover, the Republicans and Tea Party Radicals continue to endorse the failed economic policies that have left us in this mess.
After consulting with America's union leaders and businessmen, I have formulated a Job Bill that will restore the American Dream and the middle class that has made us strong. (Rebuilding the American Dream) will provide incentives to our businesses to create good high-paying middle class jobs and will provide financial resources for rebuilding our roads, highways, railways, schools, sidewalks and pipelines.
Furthermore, the (American Dream Bill) will establish a National Energy Policy that will save working class families hundreds of billions of dollars over the coming decade. We can no longer continue importing high-priced oil from Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
We have to become a global leader in the production of solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, geothermal energy and biomass.
Rebuilding the American Dream
1. Introduces a dollar-for-dollar capital spending corporate income tax deduction to encourage American companies to begin spending on new business ventures and Info. Technology (I.e. Computers, Software, Telecom). Macro economists believe an unlimited dollar-for-dollar deduction would lead to tens of billions of dollars in increased spending.
2. Appropriates $125 billion to state and local authorities for preserving jobs and investing in state and local services and infrastructure.
3. Abolishes the Federal Gasoline Excise Tax through fiscal-2030.
4. Introduces a $5,000 cash rebate for consumers purchasing hybrid automobiles that average over 35 miles per gallon. (I.e. 1 million new autos sold would translate into $5 billion in cash rebates, which is negligible compared with long-term gas savings.)
5. Authorizes the appropriation of $25 billion to municipalities for investing in mass transportation (I.e. Busing, Trolleys, Subways, Monorails, Carpooling)
6. Introduces a Clean Energy Tax Deduction which would allow companies and individuals to make dollar-for-dollar tax deductions for investments in solar, wind, geothermal, hydro and biomass.
7. Institutes the Warren Buffet Trade Act, which would lead to a long-term balancing in our nation's trade and would create millions of new manufacturing jobs.
8. Preserves SS and Medicare via eliminating the taxable ceiling on earnings.

:After sleeping for about 16 hours Rupert Giles scribbles down this note and secretly passes it to a sympathetic guard who passes it on the the NY Times who subsequently prints it.
"I have failed the Workers' Movement of the USA - my objective, since I was a young man in college, first discovering Marxism-Leninism was to "keep my nose clean" and work my way into the upper most echelons of the Imperialist state apparatus - I accomplished this when I became Director of the Central Intelligence Agency - those who I thought were brothers and comrades in the struggle sold me like Judas.
I urge all Red Soldiers who were discharged from the armed services to continue to join the Red Workers Militia or the CPUSA, or the Anarchists in the NW. There is a deadly tide of fascism rising in this country - and action is imperative - this is why I never hesitated to try to funnel funds to the RWM, and fully admit it because I think many citizens of this country understand where I am coming from and are actually fully supportive of my motivation - a real democratic society - based on economic democracy. It is also imperative now that Progressive Party does not play the role of appeasers - you will either have to physically fight the Tea Party or you will be consumed by them. Step up to the plate Kucinich, Sanders."

Statement of Senator Sanders
"Violence is never a legitimate form of opposition. We must utilize the electoral system to achieve power and reform our country for the betterment of the working class. Though I disagree with the tactics of the Red Workers' militia, Anarchist Army, and former Director of the CIA Rupert Giles, I acknowledge the sincerity of their dedication to the cause of the working class. However, violence is only what the government wants, because that is what it is best at."

The discovery of substantial arms caches from this so-called "Red Workers Militia" is a troubling one. It confirms the suspicions however that this group is possible interested in an armed overthrow of the United States government, though its membership would be far too small for it.
However, at its current size it can easily infiltrate demonstrations and other civil society groups and wreak havoc, as we saw with the disturbances in the northeast earlier. These people are hardly interested in the rights to bear arms to defend themselves, but to inflict harm on others that do not subscribe to their narrow views.
I recall as a Congressmen my attempts to investigate the Muslim community for signs of radicalism and extremism were discounted as "racist" and/or "unconstitutional" by some in the media, but it is well within our bounds to investigate anyone who will harm the citizens of this country in some way. Even after I showed that indeed there was a problem with extremism in Muslim community, and even after homegrown terrorists claimed the lives of many of our citizens. This applies to anyone, regardless of their religious or political beliefs.
I encourage all Americans to reject such groups and cooperate with your neighbors and local authorities to prevent any tragedies in the future. We do not need another one like the northeast riots or the Fort Hood shooting long ago. We call on all political groups to disown acts of violence and show no tolerance for such people in their ranks. We are particularily worried about those who adhere to various radical socialist ideologies.
We must work together to preserve freedom from all those who seek to take it from us.

The government could also just as easily infiltrate demonstrations and other civil society groups and wreak havoc so what is your point? Any ordinary person on the street could also light a building on fire so shall we arrest every American for having the ability to commit a crime? When did America become Nazi Germany, persecuting those who speak for liberty and wont conform. Also, the disturbances in the northeast were not directly related to the Red Workers Militia. It was just the common person angry because this "Rising unemployment rates and economic decline, a lack of social spending to alleviate conditions" was, and is, being ignored. Lastly, I want to once again emphasize that the weapons are only to defend the workers and their families.

From the office of the Palin Administration,
After consulting with advisors, it has come to the administrations attention that the government of the United States must take time to re-evaluate it's position in the globalized socio-economic system. Several steps will be taken to alter the way the United States has been handling affairs.
In an act of praise for those nations such as Cuba, Venezuela, and NK are invited into talks to, quoting Mrs. Palin "Restart negationary talks that have fallen apart due to idleogical differences." Mrs. Palin herself was admittedly shocked at the rejection of assistance to the Alaskan Front, given the history of hatred for the US from these nations.
And as a letter to the Red Workers Militia, to all the members who feel they have been duped by their own leaders and their promises, the Palin administration vows to hold nationwide public hearings in which the people will directly speak to their representatives in order to unite the nation in an effort to draft legislation to help the needy in this country.
A note of congratulations also goes out to the military leaders for their civil handling of the decommissioning of radical military members. Our nation salutes you.

Secretary King does not feel it is worth his time to dignify a fringe group with a response, but fellow members of law enforcement and security have requested a response to the statement. This is a composite of our responses, though King is busy with his other, more important functions, but gives it his blessings.
As we know a member of the Red Workers Militia released a 'statement', if you could call it that, claiming that the militia 'needs' these weapons to protect working families.
Let that roll through your mind for a minute. Here in America, with our Second Amendment rights we hold dear as well as our brave men in police departments across the country, are apparently insufficient to protect themselves!
Not only do they need to 'protect' themselves from some imaginary threat, but they feel the need to do so with assault rifles and light machine guns. The very same confiscated by the government. These are weapons for war, not for self-defense or recreation. We know there is a difference between defending oneself and overthrowing democracy.
Secretary King, unlike some other figures in our government, knows when it is time to disassociate themselves with violence and stop apologizing for the acts of terrorists. In the 1990s he had held a warm view of the P-IRA in North Ireland, but quickly disassociated himself with it when it was obvious they, like the RWM, only manipulated people seeking freedom. Their opposition to spreading freedom to other countries, like Iraq, was also seen as hypocritical by Secretary King.
We have heard enough times from the media and academia in their ivory towers talking about the 'social' conditions that led to the 'protests' in the northeast. Yet they fail to explain why people in the rest of the country didn't join in acts of 'civil disobedience' if these conditions were so bad. Secretary King and many of us working at Homeland Security are from the northeast, yet our communities remained quiet despite this claim that it appealed to all.
Many police officers come from 'working' class backgrounds. Many of them are the so-called 'common person' as the statement said, displeased with our difficult economic conditions. And yet, despite their lofty statements of representing the 'working man', they apparently have no problem on turning violence against the same people.
It is this kind of behavior that breeds domestic terrorism and must be stopped at all costs. Americans spoke loudly at the polls time and time again- we want a democracy, not a dictatorship. All parties currently active in our society hold this view. This is lost on the thugs of anti-government groups, who manipulate and twist peoples into serving the narrow aims of their leaders.

I want to bring up these previous happenings:
1 - "though the Red Worker Militia is openly condemned as a threat by most right wingers in government"
Most of the Red Worker Militia feel targeted by the right wing majority government and a large part of US society. You cannot say that it is an imaginary threat. When government treats groups such as the Red Worker Militia as terrorist organizations then it is obvious that we will feel threatened and try to gain a means for our defense. The defense is so if the government chooses to stop simply calling us terrorists and begins treating us as terrorists then we will not be vulnerably to unjust attacks. Though I hope it will not come to this it is always a possibility.
2 - "Riot police end up violently suppressing many of the protests as they begin to turn militant. According to official reports, 83 civilian deaths and 20 police casualties are reported."
This is another reason our group feels threatened. Police brutality is more than evident. We feel this could of been handled much better. Eighty three civilian deaths is far too much. Maybe if the police were better trained, used peaceful crowd control tactics more often or controlled peaceful protests in such a way to prevent a riot without resorting to repression there would be no fear among our group. Alas, there is no change to police handling of such events in sight but instead only vilification of protesters.
Also, to address the idea of why this was not country wide. Different cities have different people within different classes with different oppertunities. What you are saying is similar to saying...
There was reported news of a gang shooting.
Oh it cannot be a gang shooting since there is no gang activity in my state on the other side of the US!
A problem does not have to be country wide to exist and if a problem is country wide it does not mean the entire country will react the same way. Everyone is different and so is every community.
Another point, I do not condemn the individual police officers as evil or attack them. Like I said we were not directly related to the riot or protest. I just wish they were better equipped and trained for violent situations to help avoid needless deaths (which is an issue of the department as a whole)
And as a letter to the Red Workers Militia, to all the members who feel they have been duped by their own leaders and their promises, the Palin administration vows to hold nationwide public hearings in which the people will directly speak to their representatives in order to unite the nation in an effort to draft legislation to help the needy in this country.
I want to thank you for this opportunity and I hope something good will come out of it.
Lastly, I just want to point out that I myself do not decide on the actions of the RWM. I will stick by what I have said and discussed in my statements though the Commander may not. If the day comes where his view drastically differ from mine I will abandon the RWM, hopefully along with the %15 loyal to me. Though so far the commander has mostly acted in accordance with my ideals and by no means unjustly.

A secretary enters Peter King's office, passing him a small smartphone.
"What is this?", asks King, looking dumbfounded as he turns it over to look at it.
"Sir, just press that button there", says the secretary.
"Oh right right..." says King, trying to hide his embarrassment. Turning on the screen he sees an email, with a poorly created graphic from the RWM lining the top.
"Oh, this moron again. Put him on our spam list from now on." says King tiredly, "Now can you tell me how to turn on this god damned TV?"
"Uh, sir, excuse me..." says the secretary embarrassed, "That's a painting"
"Right right. Damn liberals and their highbrow art."

We understand where you're coming from, but you must also understand there are different sects of libertarianism, we happen to be Libertarian Socialists. Even if we weren't, libertarianism and socialism have a lot of common ground, and we happen to see eye to eye with many Socialist leaders. Unfortunately, our negotiations with these nations have gone awry, but we still stand in solidarity with them for their courage to constitute proper rights to its citizens. We believe in an end to the authoritarianism that is gripping the United States right this second, and we will accept any help we can get to overthrow this tyrannical government here on Alaskan soil.
We are also in solidarity with the good people in the Red Workers Militia and the newly formed Anarchist Militia. Fight on my friends!

From the mists of the Barrios in Aztlan a new political party is formed. In the East Side of San Pepe, Califaztlan (San Jose, CA) The renewed Partido Nacional de la Raza Unida finishes their first congress and prepare their declaration.

To the different political parties in the U.S., to our Raza, to the working class and all people we present ourselves. We are the Raza Unida Party, we reject the chaos created by the current capitalist system and the destruction is dragging our people into; there fore we present our political plan.
http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/9151/bbbbvi.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/52/bbbbvi.jpg/)
EL PLAN DE AZTLÁN
El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán
In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlán from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.
We are free and sovereign to determine those tasks which are justly called for by our house, our land, the sweat of our brows, and by our hearts. Aztlán belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. We do not recognize capricious frontiers on the bronze continent
Brotherhood unites us, and love for our brothers makes us a people whose time has come and who struggles against the foreigner "gabacho" who exploits our riches and destroys our culture. With our heart in our hands and our hands in the soil, we declare the independence of our mestizo nation. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlán.
For La Raza to do. Fuera de La Raza nada.
Program
El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán sets the theme that the Chicanos (La Raza de Bronze) must use their nationalism as the key or common denominator for mass mobilization and organization. Once we are committed to the idea and philosophy of El Plan de Aztlán, we can only conclude that social, economic, cultural, and political independence is the only road to total liberation from oppression, exploitation, and racism. Our struggle then must be for the control of our barrios, campos, pueblos, lands, our economy, our culture, and our political life. El Plan commits all levels of Chicano society - the barrio, the campo, the ranchero, the writer, the teacher, the worker, the professional - to La Causa.
Nationalism
Nationalism as the key to organization transcends all religious, political, class, and economic factions or boundaries. Nationalism is the common denominator that all members of La Raza can agree upon.
Organizational Goals
1. UNITY in the thinking of our people concerning the barrios, the pueblo, the campo, the land, the poor, the middle class, the professional-all committed to the liberation of La Raza.
2. ECONOMY: economic control of our lives and our communities can only come about by driving the exploiter out of our communities, our pueblos, and our lands and by controlling and developing our own talents, sweat, and resources. Cultural background and values which ignore materialism and embrace humanism will contribute to the act of cooperative buying and the distribution of resources and production to sustain an economic base for healthy growth and development Lands rightfully ours will be fought for and defended. Land and realty ownership will be acquired by the community for the people's welfare. Economic ties of responsibility must be secured by nationalism and the Chicano defense units.
3. EDUCATION must be relative to our people, i.e., history, culture, bilingual education, contributions, etc. Community control of our schools, our teachers, our administrators, our counselors, and our programs.
4. INSTITUTIONS shall serve our people by providing the service necessary for a full life and their welfare on the basis of restitution, not handouts or beggar's crumbs. Restitution for past economic slavery, political exploitation, ethnic and cultural psychological destruction and denial of civil and human rights. Institutions in our community which do not serve the people have no place in the community. The institutions belong to the people.
5. SELF-DEFENSE of the community must rely on the combined strength of the people. The front line defense will come from the barrios, the campos, the pueblos, and the ranchitos. Their involvement as protectors of their people will be given respect and dignity. They in turn offer their responsibility and their lives for their people. Those who place themselves in the front ranks for their people do so out of love and carnalismo. Those institutions which are fattened by our brothers to provide employment and political pork barrels for the gringo will do so only as acts of liberation and for La Causa. For the very young there will no longer be acts of juvenile delinquency, but revolutionary acts.
6. CULTURAL values of our people strengthen our identity and the moral backbone of the movement. Our culture unites and educates the family of La Raza towards liberation with one heart and one mind. We must insure that our writers, poets, musicians, and artists produce literature and art that is appealing to our people and relates to our revolutionary culture. Our cultural values of life, family, and home will serve as a powerful weapon to defeat the gringo dollar value system and encourage the process of love and brotherhood.
7. POLITICAL LIBERATION can only come through indepen-dent action on our part, since the two-party system is the same animal with two heads that feed from the same trough. Where we are a majority, we will control; where we are a minority, we will represent a pressure group; nationally, we will represent one party: La Familia de La Raza!
Action
1. Awareness and distribution of El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán. Presented at every meeting, demonstration, confrontation, courthouse, institution, administration, church, school, tree, building, car, and every place of human existence.
2. September 16, on the birthdate of Mexican Independence, a national walk-out by all Chicanos of all colleges and schools to be sustained until the complete revision of the educational system: its policy makers, administration, its curriculum, and its personnel to meet the needs of our community.
3. Self-Defense against the occupying forces of the oppressors at every school, every available man, woman, and child.
4. Community nationalization and organization of all Chicanos: El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán.
5. Economic program to drive the exploiter out of our community and a welding together of our people's combined resources to control their own production through cooperative effort.
6. Creation of an independent local, regional, and national political party.
A nation autonomous and free - culturally, socially, economically, and politically- will make its own decisions on the usage of our lands, the taxation of our goods, the utilization of our bodies for war, the determination of justice (reward and punishment), and the profit of our sweat.
El Plan de Aztlán is the plan of liberation!

From the Office of the Non-Commander of The Anarchist Army, Professor John Crowley.
http://image.absoluteastronomy.com/images/encyclopediaimages/v/vo/voline.jpg
We at the Anarchist Army have a handful of messages:
To the RWM, do not trust leaders, be they named Palin, or "chairman" or anything else. Authoritarianism is the road to collapse and failure.
To the peoples of the Raza Unida Party, we wish to decalre our solidarity to all dispossesed native peoples, yet we must take issue with nationalism. All men are created equal, a horrible man once said, and this principle must be respected.
To Alaskans, reject Russian influence, take control of you own destinies and liberate yourselves. No good ever comes from collaborating with any states.
To Confederate and Glenn Beck's fascists, back off. The KKK will hang, and your very prescence here will be your death sentence.
To the Proressive Party, you will come to learn you're engaged in a meaningless, unwinnable game.

Stossel
You know Mister Giles, let me begin here tonight by stating right now you just might be considered the most evil person in America.
Rupert Giles
Well, you know Stossel ... Don't you ever get tired of it all? The rat-race - just who are we all working for anyway? We're all working for the huge corporations and the huge military industrial complex that spends and spends and spends on military, and imperialist war while people can't even afford to feed their families.
Stossel
What do tough economic times have to do with you betraying your country...?
Rupert Giles
Really Stossel, you really can't see the forest for the trees, can you? I didn't betray my country at all - Its the people on top who betrayed it by selling out 90% of the population - See John, I'm like Benedict Arnold in reverse - I'm basically a lot like Valery Sablin, I guess.
Stossel
Who..? Nevermind, and I didn't invite you on here, Giles, so you could spout off your Commie pinko bull[beeeep] ... Now answer me this; is there a widespread Communist conspiracy in the upper echelons of the investigative bureaucracies of government ... and even the military?
Rupert Giles
Oh yes, Mr. Stossel, the conspiracy is deep and widespread. And it will continue to grow.
Stossel
You're 56 years old - how will you wile away the time until you either ... die of old age, or are ... execute!
Rupert Giles
Definitely thinking about the Aliens, Stossel.
Stossel
You mean, those illegal - tuhh ... brown(Stossel garbles the word a bit) people - uhh Raza, or whatever?
Rupert Giles
Is this really what America is really coming to Stossel - its once again OK to be so blatantly racist?
Stossel
What, what are you talking about Giles, I said those illegal town people - you know they stand at the end of streets, in towns, and look to work - untaxed..!
Rupert Giles Looks Disgusted, and speaks sharply
No, not "illegal aliens" Stossel. I can't share or accidentally share with you any more top secret information now - the secret military industrial complex would triangulate on this position via GPS microchips they implant in all of us while we are asleep and they would send, using HAARP, a freak hail storm that would collapse this entire prison and everyone in it - you got me Stossel?
--the interview ends and Stossel reflects on it--
... and Well, if Communists are in the ranks of the Investigative bureaucracies - like the CIA, then the government should consider privatizing them all - that is the only way to be sure of their adherence to Capitalism, after all ... And what of the military, perhaps that too should be privatized ... and does the President even know about Giles's secret CIA projects, such as the mass nocturnal GPS chip implantation process he described?

Well, I have an announcement guys
It looks as though neither thesadmafioso nor I will be able to continue GM'ing this game. We took it on without much thought as to the amount of time and effort needed, and as both of us are now resuming college classes, we will find it even harder. Along with this, we have a resurgence of other games being created, and we believe they are much better (Nova Mundi and BoP). We apologize to those who enjoyed the game and got into it, and we would like to offer up the GM position to anyone who thinks they can handle it.
tldr; game over.
