So Im decorating my room, and I have massive amounts of wall space.
I'm looking for 2 posters, both very large. One something of a 3 by 5 foot poster, wider than longer.
The other preferably something like a banner, so thinner but really long.
I want some sort of communist propoganda posters as it will give people insight into my views, while fitting in with the theme of my room and being somewhat classy.
I've looked quite a bit on Ebay and have had mixed results, so I'm just wondering if there's any websites you guys may use?
Any help is great.

Check either TheCheStore.com or AllPosters.com, they both have some really good stuff.

Thanks guys.
ANy chance you know somewhere to buy this image?
It is the one saying something along the lines of The American way, highest standard of living, etc. It's art on a brick wall, and in front of the wall is a line of black workers standing in the unemployment line.
It's in the favourite political images thread. I just can't post it because I have not yet made 25 posts on the site.

Does anyone else think it's ironic that millions of dollars are made by people selling posters/clothing with Che's image?

I'm not looking for the cliche Che image lol. Something more along the lines of Soviet propaganda for example. I like some of the images of Fidel with Che though, so I wouldn't count those out.

Sites like pixum.co.uk can make posters and things with whatever print you want on it- and on eBay there are always CD-Roms full of Soviet propaganda going for like £1. So you could get a CD full of high-quality Soviet propaganda pictures and have Pixum make a poster for you- I got one of Stjepan Filipovic from that iconic photograph and it isn't bad quality.

That's not a bad idea.
Can someone provide a link to a high quality photo of the Soviet Flag over the Reichstag?
I think this would be perfect for the wider poster

The new General Strike posters by Eric Drooker for the IWW are pretty bad ass. They're sort of small though.

I think that as Communist fetishism is "cute." But before they have flags of the USSR, I prefer to have texts where you can learn how to make some logical sense to the revolutionary symbols and images. :marx:

Well, there is this store that just sells political nostalgia like that Nazis quit newspaper and political posters like that marijuana one. Then there is the Albert Einstein one that trashes religion. So, I just bought them and put them somewhere in my room.

This is my room, above my bed a red banner with hammer and sickle, and a large Yugoslav flag. On the far left you can make out two Yugoslav "Titovka" military caps and a Soviet "Pilotka" cap with many different medals, and badges on it. The far right is a banner with a picture of South America with Che over it. In the right hand corner of said banner is his farewell letter he wrote.

Not too bad looking for a commie bedroom, :D although we seem to have a tendency to overdo the hero worship.

Meh, I don't really "worship" anyone. My cousin just gave me the thing so I put it up. :)
I think the world needs more people like Che though. People who will stand and fight tooth and nail for the working class.

Help the International Institute of Social History and buy one of their replica posters of the good old days (http://www.iisg.nl/image_sound/poster/index.php). All money is used in their continued effort to conserve our history.

You're generally a cool poster walter, but don't even get me started on your room setup...
In case anyone's wondering about my room setup (they're probably not), there is absolutely nothing political in my room whatsoever. I have a desk, a computer, a printer, a chair, a portable electric heater from the early 90s which will probably short out my house or something next time I turn it on, a bookshelf and a bed.

I just have a plain red and a plain black flag on the wall to hide a couple patched-up parts, and a soviet ushanka opposite. The main political thing in my room is the bookshelf.

I've got a soviet flag up, and a cuba flag stowed away somewhere. And a poster that says "mind warp" with an optical illusion on it. I want to get the poster that says "Lenin lives, lenin lived, lenin will always live", because I'm a dirty soviet fetishist. :thumbup1:

the only commie thing i have on my wall is just a calendar with a cool portrait of Fidel on it.
its not a big poster, but it has this portrait on it. And to the right, it says " April 19th 1961 Giron, 50th anniversary, first defeat of imperialism in america, 2011 " (translated of course)
