Can one be simply a 'Leninist' without adhering to Stalinism (Marxist-Leninism) or Trotskyism?

Are there any Leninist organisations who show no preference to Stalin or Trotsky and base their philosophy purely on the works of Lenin himself?

Personally I consider myself a Leninist whilst rejecting both Trotskyism and Stalinism.

Yeah I'm Marxist and Leninist but not Marxist-Leninist if you know what I mean. Wasn't it Stalin who first coined the term Marxism-Leninism whilst claiming his policies were a continuation of their theories?

No, I don't think it is possible to be a Leninist and not have an understanding of Stalinism. Anyone who thinks they can be most likely is shying from the question of Stalin due to the overwhelmingly negative aura bourgeois history has given it. Laziness a lack of true interest in Leninism seem to be the only way this could happen if you also are not a Trotskyist.

Duh. I consider myself a Marxist-Leninist in the 'true' sense of the word. I despise Stalin. And although I do kind of Like Trotsky's theories, I don't adhere to them.

"Adhere"? I might be misconstruing in a big way, but that seems like the kind of verb I'd expect to see pop up in a sermon.

PS I don't mean to pick on you, RedMarxist. It's a type of terminology I see pop up a lot - "I follow Luxemburg," "I believe in Hoxhaism," etc. Never made much sense as a component of Marxist discussion. (Then again, if one took this argument far enough, the logical conclusion would be to question the term "Marxist" itself...).
