Goddammit, I've been awake for 26 hours now and I have to be in school for 7 hours - school starts in an hour so if I even manage to get through this entire day I'll have been up for 34 hours. I already feel like dropping dead off a fucking cliff or whatever. Jesus.

What's worse is that I've found that all-nighters are literally the only way I can manage to show up on time without someone waking me up. I always fall asleep again otherwise. In other words, my realistic choices are between getting good grades and having no money, or risk getting thrown out of school and keep my shitty fucking job. God I hate that job, but I sure as shit don't hate it as much as I love having money.

I could rant for fucking ever until I fall asleep but I gotta go take a shower and get ready for school. Let's hope I don't fall asleep in the goddamn shower like the worthless stupid prick I am. Shit.

Tell me about it if I had to wake up to do something I'd be pissed off too right now.

I remember my last two quarters at community college, I did all nighters during finals, the lack of sleep turned me into a monster who wanted to see little children cry lol

Anyways good luck and keep it strong! you'll survive I promise!

Stayed up my entire tuesday night because my laptop died when I was trying to print my parking pass for school wednesday. Fucking raged. Then I hit a bunch of traffic wednesday morning and missed my first class after staying up to get shit done to make sure I wouldn't miss it. I didn't have a good first day of class.

When the PSL had its national conference last year, i drove 7 hours with 4 people in my car to LA from Sacramento. When i got there, i foundd my way to a LA comrades house who i was bunking with for the conference.

when i got there, there was no sleeping. everyone(incliding me) had a lively chat until fucking 6 am. so i jumped in the shower at 630 and me and a NY comrade drove trying to find our way around the "figueroa" streets while i was basically sleepless for probably 20 hours.

got to the place and first thing was first. coffee. i lived off of everything caffeinated that day. i probably looked weird as hell because i was running solely on massive amounts of caffeine to stay away for 12 hours to conferencing. i crashed so hard the next night.

Is it possible to get used to them? I'm at university, and they've kind of become a fact of life for me. Some days I've kept myself awake with a combination of caffeine and loud music. I feel like a zombie for a while but I manage to keep going and even feel energetic sometimes by the evening.

I generally have trouble falling asleep, though. After I've been awake for maybe 20-30 hours I'll eventually just crash, but if I try to force it after that I don't fall asleep and it's back to the same pattern.

a good way to get your sleep schedule on track is just work out like a maniac and then eat some food and in a few hours youll crash. hard.

Or don't eat for twelve hours before when you want your day to start, then eat a meal at that time. Never tried it but that's supposed to reset your clock.
