"Some in Crown Heights think the increase is due to the economy because there are lots of people unemployed right now, young people who need jobs. The mayor, however, disputed that claim.

Unless you count, you know, robbing people who work for a living, and stealing from the public treasury.

"Yes folks, read the wall street journal. You will be so happy seeing rich (bastards) people stealing your money that you'll stop stealing their products. "

People who commit crimes don’t read the Wall Street Journal

Tired of having that pesky "crime" label attached to what you do? Are you taking on too much risk for too little reward? Want to 'upgrade' your money-making activities?

If you said 'yes' to *any* of these, then it's time to step up your game and get into the *big* pond! Just by reading the Wall Street Journal and wearing a suit you'll gain immediate access to something you just can't *buy* on the street: Respectability.

Yes, this one much-sought-after quality continues to elude many but may be yours each and every week for less than the price of a large cup of coffee. Imagine striding into any room in the city with our newspaper tucked neatly under your arm, instantly gaining the respect and admiration of all around you. Your business associates and family members alike will feel a new sense of awe at your presence, knowing that whatever you're doing for money *must* be respectable because you dress for success and read... The Wall Street Journal.

sad part is americans are isolated from common sense due to a near monopoly of information, and the murder of socialist movements in their fetal stage. The bourgeois will only go so far as ideological liberals in terms of tolerance. the really important things that should be in text books aren't there.

Are you implying that the chapter of my tenth grade U.S. History textbook centered on the canine residents of the White House isn't important? As if the preferred puppies of Presidents aren't a paramount part of politics???

Fuck you and the horse you rode in on!

I read WSJ and I routinely engage in criminal activity.

Something is wrong with me!! I better go smash a window, cause, I have never committed a crime, and have never read the WSJ.

Agreed.

It's frightening! :(

Yeah, looks like someone should've mentioned the corollary, which is:

People who don't read the Wall Street Journal commit crimes.

Glad *that's* been cleared up for all of us...! (Makes things so much easier!)

First person to get a picture taken of them robbing a gas station or liquor store with a clearly visible WSJ in their back pocket wins the game!

if you dissolved his assets, it would probably be found that he owns shares in the Wall Street journal. Really, though.. whether he does or not.. he gets more press from then than the NY Times.

Down with the Billionaire mayor who transfixes the masses with his $1.00 a year wage.

YO.. That's because he's worth 18 billion and the mayor salary of $200,000 is mere pocket change and more taxes.

Then Bloomberg should ship a truck full of these papers these papers to any jail in NYC.
