I read that today. These criminals are showing their true colors, by stealing from the working class and bestowing lavish gifts upon the rich.
It is like a Robin Hood in reverse.

This is the guy responsible for much of the astounding-large $14-trillion U.S. deficit

What the HELL is a "working family"? Is that where the parents get to take the kids to work? It sounds like a repuglicrat way of trying to connect with working class sensibilities while wrapping it in bullshit pro-capitalist-consumerist family-values-speak to keep workers from recognizing where their interests really lie.

Its a working class family dumb ass, (as opposed to working class single people who have different interests).
Why are you trying to read into the semantics like that, its making you sound silly.
Pro-Capitalist consumerism has nothing to do with "family values" at all.

Really? Families aren't sites of consumption? Single people have different interests than married people? What interests would these be? Class interests?
Please educate us.

It's nothing new. The Republicans have been doing this for years. The Republican Party in America, as much as I can determine without having lived there, is a mechanism that aims to transfer money from public coffers to private pockets and, again, the transfer money from the consumer classes to the money merchants who produce nothing yet hold the vast majority of America's wealth.
It is interesting to see the American media recognize it for what it is, however.

This is the logical conclusion of supply side economics.

Pretty much. It is just a continuation of even what some capitalists consider a batshit economic theory. I am still confused as to why the Republicans wish to cling to this so heavily when even pro-capitalist economists are saying it is disastrous policy.

Yes, for example single people probably won't care to much about free day care services provided by the state, and married people probably won't be too mad about night clubs being shut down.
Families are the sight of consumption, so are single people, HUMANS are the sight of consumption, whether they are in families or not.
Do you REALLY think the word working families is some ploy trick the working class, or maybe is it because they realized that people value their families.
