What are some examples of police abuse in London during/after/before the rioting?
This can range from anything on a personal level of abuse (ie cops pointing guns at youth's heads), judicial abuse (woman being sentenced to 4 months for accepting pair of stolen shorts) or widespread abuse (govenrment considering cracking down on social media).
Beyond that, would you agree that
1)The rioting is largely political
2) Much of the reaction has been from the privileged, labelling the rioters as criminals, trying to take advantage of a system which already gives them too much
3)The response has mirrored the response of the dictators and upper classes in countries such as Libya to the dissent there
