No, the payment that congress people get is not that much, nor does it have much to do with taxes at all, its s tiny/insignificant part of the budget, payment in politics is'nt NEARLY the amount politicians make before and after politics in the private economy.

They receive a salary from public funds, but it has no bearing on the level of taxation. It is simply too small an amount to register.
