He's against the wars and for marijuana legalization. That's about the most reasonable he gets. Beyond that he is literally insane.

He is the most reactionary of the reactionaries, a racist who sits on the laps of the Misesean Dixie revivalists.

At a glance, he seems almost reasonable, maybe even a left-leaning libertarian.
When you look into his past and deeper into his views, he was a collaborator with the Ku Klux Klan and right wing piece of shit. I would never vote for him.

I get that on every forum, it stopped being entertaining. Now please criticize mr. Paul. He wants to stop wars, legalize pot, decrease power of the CIA, remove Homeland Security etc. The antifa dream basically. Where is the problem then ?

Ron Paul does not believe in the separation in church and state
Ron Paul is a creationist, Ron Paul does not believe in evolution
Ron Paul is against abortion
Ron Paul is for a free market, which is unrealistic and economically unsound.
Ron Paul is for gold standard, which is the very reason why the Netherlands was one of the last to climb out of the Great Depression*
*gold standard meant expensive trade compared to countries which introduced fiat money, which made it unappealing to trade with the Netherlands

Some of his stances are reasonable, but on the whole I'm inclined to avoid him. His ideas seem to be rooted in the worship of an idealized past (the "founding fathers") and not in actual principles. A government constructed for the benefit of a few slavers in an agricultural society does not work today, and even if it did we should adopt systems based on their merits, not some mythic status.

But I didn't realize you were that fucking dumb.
And for the record, no, I will not be voting for that imperialist.

Ron Paul? Another Libertard lout who probably beats off to pictures of Ayn Rand and money is in his spare time. A joker who the right likes to hold up then drop; a joker who doesn't have a hope in hell at getting elected or even nominated as a party candidate. The weird spokesman of the right and far-right alike. Have I summed this up sufficiently? I believe so.

For the record, I'm not mad, I just like hatin'.

I'm not a troll, and my questions make sense.. how am I a troll exactly ? You should be banned for having a foul mouth.

Paul supports some liberetarian views like legalising drugs, weakening authoritarian state powers and removing America from some of its more costly Imperial intanglements.
Almost enticing, right?
Not so.
Lets look avoid the allegations of racism at the central part of his political position - economic liberalism. Economic liberalism call for a much less restrained market. The freer the market, the more destructive to itself society and people, the more inhuman and the more centralised power and wealth becomes in the hands of a smaller economic elite.
No amount of legal drugs and promises to end wars can make up for the damage that further economic liberalism shall bring down upon the working class.
As socialists, we stand for what is good for the working class, Paul is not.
BTW, whilst you're other thread seemed a bit troll like, I for one think this thread was an honest attempt to find out what leftists think about an issue - too many people here on revleft are too quick to fling out the stock insults. :/

Ron Paul I'd say is the only non corporate owned person in th republican party, which is why they all ignore him, but yeah he does have an ugly past.
His and Bernie Sanders audit of the Fed was great to see, the left and right comming to gether to get the banks.
But i would'nt vote for him, if I was voting i'd vote for the green party or something.

I don't vote, and I probably shouldn't express an opinion, since all I know about Ron Paul comes from TV, but I believe he wants to extricate the US from Iraq, Afghanistan, etc., unlike Obama, who talked about the "transition" in Afghanistan, i.e., the magic, imaginary time when US troops will no longer be fighting there, and, according to the web, that same week the US government was involved in negotiations that would leave GI's in Afghanistan "for decades." I doubt Ron Paul is that dishonest.

Ron Paul is just a paleoconservative with liberty rhetoric. He has some good points, but his past and other points is the problem. Though, Ron Paul definitely beats the other Republicans. (Though that's not saying much.)
