deindustralization of the west
There's still a huge amount of manufacturing going on in the west (the U.S. remains the world's largest manufacturer, producing 1/5 of total world output). What's been lost most is manufacturing jobs, and that's been due as much to increase in the efficiency of the machinery being used as anything else.

K here's the final product, hope revleft doesn't mind that I plug them here at the end >_>
No matter who wins the elections, ten things will stay the same.
1. Wage slavery. The masses of working people with no way to make a living other than by selling their labouring power to the minority that owns the tools and materials needed to produce things humans need and want will be in the same position no matter who is in office.
2. The rich will continue to become even richer, regardless if there is a crisis or not, while the poor continue to become more and more impoverished.
3. The politicians will act on the behalf and in the interests of big business at the expense of the working class.
4. People will be homeless while vacant homes rot away.
5. The continued attacks against what remains of the US labour movement
6. Social need will be placed on the shelf whereas profit motive will continue to drive corporate and State policies.
7. Healthcare will remain inaccessible to those who tend to need it the most, the poor who cannot afford it
8. The resentment and anger of the working class will continue to boil, looking for an outlet, an excuse to lash out, in England this was found with the murder of Mark Duggan.
9. Capitalism will always have a tendency to go into crisis because of the way it functions.
10. Everything important essentially.
Communism, for real change
