I am on debate.org and there is a user who calls himself "contradiction." He is clearly a bigot and a hard-core conservative christian. He is against abortion (how sexist!); anti-gay marriage (homophobe); pro death penalty; pro iraq wars and war on terrorism.

Debate.org/contradiction

do you all think he is fascist?

You can't call any conservative you disagree with a fascist. If he does not believe in a corporatists state that combines both state and industry, I doubt he's a fascist. Just an angry conservative.

Sorry about that. I am a socialist M-L and there to debate; I'm about to leave once my debates are done because of that.

Oh, I remember those guys. They basically devoted an entire topic on their site to making snide remarks about revleft users that were tearing their arguments apart in OI. Hardly the sort of people you want to be trying to have any serious sort of debate with, really.

But yeah, as for the topic, I'd classify him as a fairly standard American Conservative. Though he is certainly a reactionary, I don't think anything there is enough to lead to the conclusion that he is a fascist.

Rule #1 of identifying a fascist: Does the person in question advocate a free market and minimal government interference in society? If so, then the person is not a fascist.
