Help/Suggestions for Capitalism

It's for my U.S. government class and it has to be 3-5 minutes long. Any suggestions on how I should start it off, etc? What should I talk about specifically? Stuff like that would be real, real, real helpful. Thanks.

What's your thesis? Why capitalism sucks? How capitalism has evolved? How it was created?

It's been changed. I'm going to talk about American imperialism- specifically the U.S. occupation of Iraq and its effects. I'm thinking of also including stuff like that article on the forum about Bush wanting to take over Cuba as well.

Do a speech on how the president of your contry is a curupt evil man, who uses the shaowy cloak of christianity to cover his lies. Write about how your contry has killed more people than anyone.

Comrade marxstudent, are you making fun of comrade Ryen? Why? He states a valid and useful hypothesis that you should be using.

You should start with mentioning the fact that the United States backed Iraq under Sadam previously in the 1980's dispite knowing full well, the undemocratic nature of the government, and it's brutality against it's own people. Which was known at the time by the US Government. Than Justify this, by pointing out how the United States has traditionally played this game of supporting one opressive power, over another when it's in their interests. Sadam's government, was in fact considered to be the most open to western ideas in the middle east... and the United States was worried about Iran, so supplied Iraq with WMD through a third party.

Make sure that you note how Capitalism is a neverending cycle unless you deal with it.
Mention the U.S. agressions towards Cuba, North Korea, and Syria, and how ridiculous the cycle becomes.

Also, maybe you would talk about how in our 'thriving' capitalist economy, the rich are only becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer. The gap widens....

Maybe you might want to cool it on the offensive comments,because I heard on raisethefist.com that two kids made a comment about Bush in their report and some SS guys came and interogated them because they thought that they were "terrorists".It's stupid I know but it's the truth.

Ah fuck it- it was too hard to summarize everything in 3-5 minutes so I just wrote about gay rights. I'm pretty proud of my written handout material. ;)

Yazman, naw I'm not making fun of Ryen. I talk to him and he goes to the clubs a lot. I don't dislike him, he's actually real cool and has taught me a lot during his free time.
