Reuben

Reuben are a British band who have released a few singles, had some videos shown on MTV2 but have not signed a major record deal so have no released an album yet. I've been to three or so of their gigs in London and was wondering if anyone else hear had heard of them. They've released the songs - Stux, Scared of the Police and one other.

Anyone got any opinions on them?

Also they are doing a gig at the Highbury and Islington Garage on the 5th of November - is anyone else going? I think these are the dates but I can't remember.

Yah...bit too poppy and jangly for me. Nice guys though apparently. Check out Thrice, they're way cooler.

PS I saw Poison the Well/Thrice @ the Garage....it's a good venue, but it has an annoying pole thing that makes crowdsurfing slightly painful.

Yeah the lads in the band are really good people - always up for having a bit of a chat after a gig which is good.

I'll have a look out for thrice and see what they are like.
