How can Obama "take a stand" for the people when he is the current #1 ambassador for capitalism and imperialism?

Truth-out is one of those mixed-bag liberal websites. Some truth-out authors like Chris Hedges are much more sympathetic to the revolutionary left, and far, far more critical of Obama than these stubborn liberals who hold out hope for him. There is no hope for somebody who's fundamentally a pro-capitalist president, both ideologically and in practice.
