The sheer amount of individuals who had their own ideas about what a leftist was supposed to be flooded the site, each one posting, making their own tendency and trying to prove their version of leftism came to a grinding halt when everyone realized no one had time to actually evaluate all the opinions on the site, didn't truly understand anyone elses ideas of how leftism was supposed to act, and that there woudn't be a week without a newb proposing his own "Nth^nth Way Manifesto".

Then Revleft imploded in on itself and gave rise to an artificial intelligence that would lead us all, free from the restrictions of being human and uninformed about the temptations of the same. We can see the egg hatching on the website here, a screenshot I stole from a future we might be altering by viewing it...

I'm reminded of the Helios ending from Deus Ex.

RevLeft became the singularity -- the transhumanists will be pleased.

And to think, I posted in some of those threads. So I contributed, in some small way to the advent of the Singularity. In the words of the late William F. Buckley, "immanetize the eschaton!"
