I have just been arguing with the most dumb Capitalist I've ever argued with. So dumb that I added one of her quotes to my signature.

She said some things that are so unbelievable it's unreal. It gave me an idea, a place to post the most idiotic quotes from Capitalists you've argued with.

Here they are (all from the person I've just been arguing with):

people who died under capitalism died by personal choices that they have made.

any poor person in the world can start a fruit or veggie farm and become rich. they have two hands

every country in africa is socialist. that is why they are so poor

in anarcho-capitalism there will be enough charity from businesses to easily feed and house 2 billion unemployed

capitalism will get much better once governments are taken out of the equation

I'm pretty sure she was an Anarcho-Capitalist

fuck that pisses me off
why dont an caps realize capitalism cant exist without the state!
A right libertarian friend of mine said poor people would benefit from the end of welfare/medicare/medicaid/public housing

Also my father said the whole world should have been as "lucky" as India to have been under British rule
He basically thinks there will be a "revolution" of sorts and Anglo-American Christian empire will control the entire world
hes an idiot

This is one of my personal favorites, it was directed towards me in high school when I was giving a speech on the Iraq war and the civilian casualties which resulted from it.

Well they should of left the country if they didn't want to die

I still can't get over the complete disregard for human life and lack of logic displayed in that line of thought.

Money IS speech. And if our congress is bought, then so is our President, who has raised more money than ANY elected official in the worlds history

How is this guy an anarchist? I think he's got a very good point.

That we should take to the street and throw down our government?

The First Law of Economics is: There never is (and never will be) enough money for all the things that one wants. This is the reason why one has to prioritize (i.e., budget) one's expenses."

”The reason why republicans are winning elections:
"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win"I'm pretty sure Gandhi wasn't a Repub

It's the same reason in our depression our government made to dig ditches and then fill them back up. Work for the sake of work,
I think she stumbled into it, but right is still right (on Sarah Palin's take on Paul Revere

Fine tax the rich 100% that's fair

My God, it all makes sense now. The rich have stolen their money from the poor, who just cannot stop themselves from buying crap they don't need!

Yay Marxism! How many visits to the West Wing have you had so far George Soros?

Not particularly capitalist in nature, but I remember back in high school some fucking idiot christian saying something along the lines of this. "While I feel bad for the jews and stuff, but its kinda their own fault. Those who wanted to stay should have just converted to Christianity, then they'd been safe. And the rest who didn't want to convert should have left and gone to Israel."

This was said in a History Honors Class and in reference to the Holocaust.

I'm stuck having to deal with a ~60 y/o dude that says this type of shit.
I believe in freedom of religion, but not for those Muslim guys. They are evil. After watching that Glenn Beck video, it kinda reminded me of him with the lack of respect for others' opinions and sarcasm. He doesn't have any friends either because his personality is so annoying. The worst part is that he is loud with his beliefs in public places. For example, we went to Home Depot and there were people in there speaking Spanish and he goes, "What is this? Little Puerto Rico?" and says it in a disbelief and depreciating manner while making an exaggerated face; I can imagine we can all think of someone similar we that personally know. I think people that act like this have had some sort of crisis in their teenage life, and they have an inferiority complex, so they try to show off their brilliant self-aggrandizing theories. The only reason I don't kick his ass and swing at his head for a home run is because of how I'm associated with him.

Here's a facebook status

Father, we know that blessed is the country that is friends with Israel, but the pres of this country is determined to cut ties in favor of personal ties with Islamic nations. In Jesus Name, we ask You, do not let this happen! We pray for the peace of Israel and cherish their friendship. Father we ask You to intervene, doing whatever is necessary to stop what is happening. Stop Obama in his tracks and turn him from his evil ways, in Jesus Name.Apparently, Jesus Name is a location. This person prays and wants to deal with Obama in it.

^ I must admit, that quote made me laugh pretty hard.

Then I felt sad afterwords, seeing how real post intellectualism really is in the U.S.

I reckon the U.S. has pretty good ties with Islamist states long before Obama was even born.

Ironically enough, historically, Israel was never at war with Islamists. It was always Progressive Bourgeois secularists who they had a hard time with, which is why they created Hamas.
